This is why in an earlier thread today, I said the PTI-Led Government will have to go “Full Monty” and layout what the PPP has done and what they are doing, and that the US should not support the PPP to undermine the democratically elected government of Pakistan. It is repugnant to do so, but we all know there are those inside Pakistan that would undermine the government given the chance, so the government will have make the first diplomatic move.
This needs to be accompanied with a stern warning against any and all interference by Imran Khan and the military; breach of which will have consequences for cooperation and the relationship.
