Those are extreme examples though. I doubt Turkey will leave NATO, also all the things like the x band radar installed in Turkey is to protect NATO countries and such. It doesn't have any direct relation to Turkeys bilateral relation with US.
The F35 is a direct trade with US, and if US isn't willing to sell it to us, we can buy Typhoon from EU.
What I'm trying to say is that F35 doesn't have any relation to being a NATO member. mixing those two things aren't a good solution. Remember Stoltenberg also said S400 was a sovereign decision to protect the country and doesn't have anything to do with NATO. Which also means in return we won't mix those either.
Even if we don't get F35 I think our defense industry should continue supply the parts. It's direct export and we'll be able to continue servicing any F35 with spare parts. the more we can make the better it is.
True, we can stop US from using our bases and land routes since the operation in ME isn't NATO mission.
