IK made a poor decision, but made it honestly and had the best interests of the country at heart when he made it. He never asked Bajwa to engage in unconctitutional and illegal acts to benefit the PTI or harass PTI’s political opponents or even harass vociferous & obviously paid journalists and anchors in the media.

This begs a question, if I may: He did not ask for any such help, but did that help somehow skew his perceptions of his own authority and support? If so, one wonders just how successful this effort to convert grassroot protests into actual political power is likely to be in the next elections.

(Assuming IK wins the next elections, we can leave the discussion of what happens after that till that happens given that much of what is opposed to him will remain entrenched now throughout government machinery, not to mention the Army.)

PTI supporters supported Bajwa and the Army leadership when they perceived them to be genuinely neutral and not involved in violating the constitution and selling out the country to the US and corrupt criminals like the Sharif’s, Zardaris and Mullah Diesel.

PDM supporters supported and support Bajwa and the Army leadership ONLY when Bajwa is willing to violate the constitution, overthrow an elected government and support a fascist & illegal crackdown on the PTI & its supporters to perpetuate the corrupt PDM and Army leadership’s hold on power.
