I said in a conditional statement. In Urdu, it means shartiya jumla. If something happens then other things will happen.

We didn't have a leader at the time who would speak for the murder of Muslims committed because they were all scared of Musharaff but if we had a leader, i have no doubt that Pashtuns would have preferred to be separated so the bombing would stop.

I can never forget how my home windows will shake, how the earth would shake whenever bombs and shelling were done. How the army saw me as a terrorist and i had to carry an ID card or else be treated like scum.

Even the army youngster soldiers hated it all.

Back then Imran Khan used to speak against Musharaff. Today, Musharaff has become a hero??
