I would like to question your assertion that Goths are / were illegal. Prove it! If you wish to state that it is Qabza, then how is it any worse than Qabza by your beloved party? If Goths were indeed illegal, then they ought to be dealt with by government, not political party goons.

Parween Rehman clearly stated that Altaf Nagar was Qabza and that there were no signatures on property papers. That shows that there was NO LEGITIMATE owner after demolition of Goths. But there were City government THAPPAs, thus proving collusion by MQM. Disprove THIS!

you can clearly see those plannings of illegal areas arnt approved by KMC or KDA, and for developing any area, you need a proper planning and approval, these goths are all illegally occupied

You may well be right. At least in Punjab the villages that get incorporated into cities are not irregular settlements. But even then encroachments happen. I have a plot in Johar Town and a few feet away from it is a katchi abadi which is basically an encroachment. It reportedly has backing of the local PML-N MPA Naseer Bhutta. So perhaps that is a mini-goth much like what you are suggesting. However it seems that at least some of the Goths are encroachments on Sindh government land. Capturing Goths is then same as one encroachment replaced by another. In other words it is a bigger thug party forcing out a smaller thug party. Many TV channels have shown how land demarcated for a duly approved purpose gets occupied by thugs with backing of this party or that party. It always either MQM, ANP, or PPP.

Reading the interview transcript clearly brings out the real picture of the situation. I have a feeling that we are not going to agree on the perspective as shown by late Parween Rehman. Let us agree to disagree and end this debate. People can draw their own conclusions.
