As far as India attacking Pakistan and limited blunder etc. India couldn't attack after 26/11 and neither can after another blame game operation because of fear of both countries being turned into craters. In a war between two nuke neighbors one doesn't wait, regardless of all that no first use policy which really is just for public consumption..behind closed doors among generals the policy is "use it or lose it".

The Nazi party coming to power is not the same as Hitler assuming dictatorial powers by-passing the Reicshtag. By the time he declared himself Fuhrer, the Reichstag had been dissolved. The German people had elected him as Prime Minister, not as Fuhrer. He made himself that. Just as Musharraf made himself President from CEO. Oh, I forget, he made himself CEO as well. Yes, seperatist movements can go on in places that still retain their own identity, like Baluchistan does. The North-East is slightly different: the movements, unlike Baluchistan, are for either new states or for greater autonomy. There is a conflict within the states between various groups, which they wish resolved by either getting their own states or greater autonomy under regional councils. They do not wish to separate from India, like Baluchistan wants to separate from Pakistan. Also, the writ of the Indian state runs there, unlike the writ of the Pakistani government in KPK, Baluchistan, Karachi etc. Finally, our solution to such situations, unlike in Pakistan, is to hold peace talks. We do not conduct mass genocide of Baloch people and try to cause demographic shifts by planting Punjabis there instead.
