here is one of the street signs in punjabi.. n have you been to td canada trust bank in brampton. do u recognise punjabi language written there. or maybe you may have seen punjabi in canadian citizenship booklet

At my current University, we have signs in Urdu/Hindi/Arabic/European languages....all over the place....does that mean anything? No. It just means people from that region visit often, so it might be a good idea to put signs. It doesn't imply any superiority.

I am myself Punjabi, my great grand father and grand father gave up their lands around Jalandhar and moved to the new land. What can i say? Nothing, but respect their decision. I am pretty comfortable living abroad. I don't know why Indians like you have this complex.......based on some ethnic/religion/caste division.

So because Punjabi town has street signs in Punjabi that makes Pakistanis low class factory workers?
Boy I am glad I never went to an Indian school.
China town has signs in Chinese, does that means Japanese people are also low class factory workers?

Vancouver has the largest Sikh population outside of Indian Punjab, of course they are going to have street signs.

BTW, if you ever heard of a place called Surrey you will know that most Sikh youth are getting big time into drugs and gangs.

That has probabily to do with the fact many Punjabis live/pass by that specific area. In a Jewish dominated neighbourhood, chances you'd find Yiddish or Hebrew on sign boards, for example. That is quite prevalent in US especially.

and he said nothing wrong.. Yellow Cab drivers in NY make real good money. Apart from that they drive a lot of private pick and drop services to JFK, EWR, LGA.. That's a good money earner.. Dude they are very hard workers and I am sure they make more than 50 k for sure.. Literate Sikhs are in all good industries and commanding in good positions making a lot more money..

Also, there are lots of Indian Americans in respectful political positions.. So don't know why you will call the post as retard..

many punjabis are MPs and many are mayors. an average indian in canada is richer and more influencial in canada than a pakistani. and its stupid for a pakistani to think otherwise.

Pakistanis are doing just fine. We are middle/upper middle class with low alcohol and drug abuse usage.
Most Pakistani immigrants in Canada tend to be middle class educated people.

However, the Sikhs tend to be straight up peasants from the farms. Even other Indians are ashamed of them due to their "village habbits"

True story, I was working at the Driver licence office once and an older Sikh woman came to me and in Punjabi said "I can't speak English, but I want to take the test" I said " no problem, the test is also in Punjabi" to which she replies "I can't even read Punjabi"

At that point I just gave myself a face palm.

Oh and now the children of these villagers are joining gangs and spending most of their time smoking weed.
