if the reference wasn't leaked in media, they were definitely going to file it ... looking at the reaction they withdraw it .... TBH i really wanted them to commit this mistake !!

Briefly, some mistakes cause immeasurable damage even if countered effectively. This one was best avoided.

I think they withdrew mainly because they couldnt find anything against him, except panama case remarks.. If they had found even an iota of misconduct or wrongdoing by him or any of his family members....they would have never backed out... It was obvious tht this frivolous reference was to go into the raddi ki tokri, and then legal action against those who filed the reference..so they withdrew

Legal action afterwards was out of question simply because of the reason for the withdrawl in the first place, avoid clash of institutions.

The thing is, she is just a card. She is not a master card. Catching at a straw, this last straw won't save them either.

Bravado apart, not to be taken litely in the least.

Whether legal action after dismissal of reference ...could actually take place or not...thts a diff question but it would have been an option nevertheless... So they withdrew.. My point basically is..tht they withdrew it mainly because it was such a frivolous reference that they themselves knew tht it would be dismissed and political cost, during all this drama would be huge.. LONDON: Begum Kulsoom Nawaz was diagnosed with throat cancer on Tuesday, reported Geo News.

According to British doctors treating the former premier's wife, her cancer can be treated.

Kulsoom's treatment will begin in a few days, sources told Geo News.
