Loot many billions and return a few for escape.
If the deal is struck, then rest assured next gov will be PMLN or PPP to honour such a deal.
And that means engineered elections.
All hail the locals! @El Sidd
Why so hopeless?
Welcome back!
Not hopeless. Maybe a bit impatient but definitely not hopeless.
Bhai jan 2 rozay reh gaey hain aap ke Pakistan main... mera aik reh gaya hai in shaa Allah.. aaram se guzar lo thanday thanday!Looking from his pov, It seems CJP is giving them one more chance to commit political and (eventually,) legal suicide by escaping but it also means Sharifs bluff of raising hue and cry has put our image conscious judiciary on permanent back footing.
Maryam will indeed come back to prove opponents wrong and garner as much sympathy votes as possible.
Sharifs, it seems have politically trumped this judiciary at least until the elections and extracted the political mileage for elections from SCP's obvious and understandable political immaturity despite tall claims to the Contrary.
Delaying trial verdicts as much as possible was Sharifs goal and this Judiciary has played into their hands that much.
That much is clear as day light.
Sharifs have managed to play politics of influencing the upcoming elections as much as they could possibly under the circumstances due to their political struggle and legal efforts.
The judiciary has failed the people of Pakistan in stopping Sharifs thus far on the road towards elections.
Now it is up to the state to make sure to counter the bureaucratic prowess of Sharifs still entrenched in the system and ready to rig upcoming elections as much as possible. Tall claims by judiciary of Fair and free are just a facade to hide their failure in timely sentencing the crooks to filter out the biggest patrons of such filth.
Holding the elections on 2013 laws activated by supplementary affidavits can only be viewed as nothing more than back to square one...What was required was to go beyond 2013 laws and make the filters stricter but to no avail.
Any sane person would be correct in thinking that the first step of New Caretakers should've been to put Sharifs on ECL. Failure of this should be evident about the scenario and the players involved.
It seems insanity is more prone to succeed in third world countries like Pakistan than in the rest of the civilized world.
@PakSword aaj waqai garmi ziada thee in Islamabad, lol.
Ulti Ganga bahe hai
Hahaha

This VIP trial handling and unending VVIP treatment by CJP must be stopped.
What will the CJP achieve by letting Sharifs go abroad?
Sympathy on humanitarian grounds?
What about sympathy for the looted and fleeced people of Pakistan who rot in their load shedding riddled, contaminated water drinking, health hazards and corruption plagued society thanks to four decades rule of this corrupt mafia?
Is there any sympathy for the common man?
A lot needs to be done to make sure of a fair and free elections.
How can we believe the claim after Nomination acceptance of so many ineligible candidates in by-elections and Senate, the strike down and omissions of 19 criteria instead of making the nomination law strictest.
Even if this court strikes down the law with 19 omissions and reinstates the earlier law...What good it shall be when even that earlier relatively strict law was flawed and weak from its origins.
Sorry CJP, the time to have a strict elections law in place is fast receding without its alternative law anywhere to be seen or debated.
Without a stricter law on nominations and election reforms, mere reinstating the old law and having oversees Pakistanis vote shall not make sure of a free and fair elections.
May be if the court took the matter seriously and suomoto of the matter earlier of the election law at the time of changes by parliament in the name of so called election reforms.
I'm sorry but Now the SCP will be forced to go with the flow of events and do some superficial amendments at best.
Just looking at its current restrained and apologetic nature against PMLN and tendency to give explanations of true intentions instead of strong verdicts shows that it does not seem to be in a position to exert itself at the moment.
At least, SCP is not in a position to impose itself any further with any force when faced with the concept of standing against the whole political system (when it couldn't manage to do so against a single party) and delay elections for some meaningful election reforms to ensure an actual fair and free election. That's why the Hikmat part is such a double edged sword.
PMLN is facing an uphill task...in cricket terms...they are playing for achieving small targets, next 50 runs instead of 450 runs...one at a time...malign judiciary...malign PTI as pawns...completing term...Senate elections...then general elections...change constitution...bulldoze institutions down to size.

But again, our Election laws are a script for circus to keep people entertained in the name of democracy so any thing is possible.
There should have been a movement to improve and tighten the election laws. Instead, this assembly has made even more holes for the corrupt to get elected.
What a joke to claim rule of law and democracy when the worst people of the society are eligible to get elected.
What a joke to expect fair and free elections.
We may see Maryam/ NS's end of game.. but PMLN is not going anywhere.. it is there to stay.. at least for another 10 years or till Pakistan gives in to the international powers.. whichever comes earlier..
Bhai Jan, Below I've posted just a few out of dozens of posts as far back as February and earlier along the same lines as my recent post above.
At least, I'm not the one flowing any "ulti Ganga"...
I expected the current scenario all along yet I've repeatedly said that I'm not hopeful on any ones account but Devine Retribution...MakafateAmal and continued exposition of players involved.
Sadly, I see the same futureWe may see Maryam/ NS's end of game.. but PMLN is not going anywhere.. it is there to stay.. at least for another 10 years or till Pakistan gives in to the international powers.. whichever comes earlier..
By the way @Shane have you seen sudden change in some anchors behavior? Klasra is leading them.. These journalists are part of a group that has its own agenda. You will see some blackmailing by these journalists and their channels in the coming days if things don't get solved behind the scenes.
For example, no "conscientious" journalist is talking about Maryam and her father's ECL issue, in fact, they are giving continuous coverage to a non-issue.. Zulfi Bukhari.. whose name was in the black list only.. and he has returned too.. and has also decided to attend NAB hearing..
As far as I know, he or NAB broke no law when a special permission was given to him, because his name was only on the black list, which somehow is a different list than Exit Control List.
You will see this propaganda increasing in the coming days with some hidden motives behind it.. there is some serious blackmailing going on.. Lets see how and when Khan gives in.. I see establishment behind it to be very honest.
It seems that the issues between establishment and PMLN have almost been addressed. I don't see PTIs chance at all in the next elections. It will be PMLN (with the help of MMA and independents). We all know who has facilitated in the reorganization of MMA and how MMA is only speaking against PTI. Now you will see many channels who are backed by establishment (such as ARY, 92, 25 and SAMAA news) and anchors who are part of international establishment (Rauf Klasra etc) speaking against PTI and taking up minor issues.
If it has been decided (which seems so to me), there is no need to vote in the next elections.. specially for those who (like myself) were planning to spend their hard earned money on air tickets etc..
We may see Maryam/ NS's end of game.. but PMLN is not going anywhere.. it is there to stay.. at least for another 10 years or till Pakistan gives in to the international powers.. whichever comes earlier..
Shahbaz Sharif.. Hamza Sharif..@bold If maryam and nawaz sharif are ousted/ jailed..phir PMl N main reh kiya jayega? I think iss ke different factions aur splinter groups ban jayein ge
It is a very well coordinated effort..I don't think that Military Establishment is behind this.
People like Klasra spent a fair time in USA and a lot of these journalists are chameleons. They gain the goodwill and fan base from the masses by bashing the likes of PMLN etc and right before the elections they attack IK full throttle. International Establishment simply can't accept someone like IK at the helm.
May Allah save us from another government of PMLN+PPP.
