@Path-Finder Great of you to share the program link, I watched it too. Simply remarkable intro pieces by Ayaz Amir and @Tameem 's Baba jee; Haron Rashed.(should help to clarify about his tweet on Wajid Zia too exactly like I told you)
@Arsalan @PakSword @Farah Sohail do watch the above show posted by @Path-Finder , specially from 2:00 to 09:00 at least and the rest of the program too.
They nicely sum up what we have been discussing on this forum about the ingeniously amassed ill gotten wealth of Sharifs that they accumulated over 40 years of power in various capacities without ever letting the law catchup with them until a combination of "Panama" and "AlhamduliAllah" got them caught with their hand in the cookie jar.
Yeah, this one is from today...hold your breath, for this too!
Yeah, this one is from today...
He usually does but anchor comes to the rescue asap too, may be the producer was distracted and didn't prompt the anchor in time, lol.but the chitroll was as always A+. Sulman Ghani lost the plot which is the indicator that hit 'pittari' for defence is empty.
lets just say entire JIT was a farce, they failed to probe the matter effectively & efficiently , but newspaper is misreporting again ...... Prosecution has put forward a reasonable case along with evidence, NAB officers had the documents verified / notarized that were missed out by the JIT......JIT probe limited to documents obtained from SC, says Wajid Zia

ISLAMABAD: The accountability court was informed on Monday by Wajid Zia that the probe in the Avenfield reference case was limited to the documents provided to the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) by the Supreme Court (SC).
During the hearing, Zia continued to be cross-examined by defence counsel Khawaja Harris, who pleaded the court to record the proceedings of the Avenfield case for future reference.
Nawaz contempt case: Reconstituted LHC bench breaks
The documents provided by the SC included constitutional petitions, multiple CMAs and the petitions and responses filed against the Sharif family, Zia told the court.
Nawaz Sharif’s counsel Khawaja Harris was trying to point towards the fact that the land-rent agreement, professional licenses and the premises where the factory was set up were not investigated.
Zia conceded that the team had not probed Gulf Steel Mills which was renamed to Ahli Steel Mills. The cross-examination led to a debate over the 1978 and 1980 agreements which revealed that 75 per cent of the shares of the steel mills belong to Abdullah Ahli while the remaining 25 per cent remained in the name of Tariq Shafee.
Harris also questioned whether Zia tried to verify the mill’s record from Dubai municipality authorities, to which the head of the JIT informed the court that the team wrote to relevant authorities in Dubai recently, seeking further details of Gulf Steel Mills but have yet to receive a response.
The defence counsel then drew Zia’s attention towards certain pages and asked if the JIT tried to verify the records Gulf Steel Mills, but Zia replied in the negative.
Zia maintained that the documents were presumed to be true.
“JIT did not feel the need to verify the documents from the Dubai municipality earlier, neither did we feel the need to verify the contents and authenticity of the professional licence for Gulf Steel Mills for purpose of ascertaining whether Abdullah Ahli and Tariq Shafee had indeed been working as partners with effect from 1978.”
Responding to further questions, Zia said he can not be precise about the number of days invested in analysing the SC documents, but agreed that the one million square feet land allotted to the mills and the rent agreement between Tariq Shafee and Mohammad Hussain regarding the availability and the setting up of the steel mill were verified during the examination.
Zia said all such documents came to his notice when the JIT was conducting the examination.
Avenfield Apartment: Star witness changes stance over questionnaire
The JIT head admitted on Friday that the team had sought help from Dubai authorities over a matter that happened in Sharjah and gave findings on Sharifs’ alleged forgery in the 1980s on the basis of an ‘assumption’.
He also changed his stance over sending a questionnaire to someone in advance.
The JIT head backtracked from his earlier stance that he never sent a questionnaire to anyone in his entire career while admitting that the JIT had sent a questionnaire to a law firm in the United Kingdom regarding two trust deeds pertaining to the Avenfield Apartments.
The details emerged during cross-examination of the witness against the Sharif family in the Avenfield Apartments reference. When the case was taken up, defence counsel Khawaja Haris enquired from Zia if the JIT communicated with Jeremy Freeman of the Freeman Box Solicitors. Zia affirmed the query.
although it is bs, and utter disrespectful and shameful but let me add that PM was actually on a private trip not on official, as per informed sources he was there just to spend some quality time with his family - his sister's house......he had no protocol with him.....hence it was foreseen.......
