Don't compare Algerians to Palestinians...If you were us, you would have a country fought for it and kept it...That what did during the 132 years of french occupation. We didn't go after French civilians and blow their busses, or bombed recklessly towns to bring the French army wrath on our civilians. We went after their army, their governing elite, their security apparatus. Even when the French retaliation on our civilian was at its summum, we have never succombed that low to take it on French individuals because they were French. Do you have any idea , how many French, both settlers and from the meptropole helped and were involved, for different raisons, to free Algeria from the French yoke, countless! They did it because we are people with honor, and we fought with honor!
Firing rocket aimlessly, has no honor in it..Bombing busses has no honor in it..Forcing women to blow themselves up because of a rumor of impropriety has no honor in it..Subjecting innocent palestinians to Israel retaliation has no honor in it either...

Israeli colonizers aren't civilians, and Palestinians aren't blowing up buses(back then they did during intifada when 40 Palestinian(Christian and Muslim) civilians were being killed every day and most of the victims were Israeli soldiers/veterans/reserves.

Algeria only had French soldiers occupy them, they didn't transfer illegal immigrants into there and in the end have you independence, Palestinians were supposed to get independence after the British promised so, they unjustly lied and established a Jewish state on Palestinian land.

Any person can just quote you to see the pictures are not up to date and no homes were targeted, this was a statement by the Israeli military too.

That's where you are miss informed, the French settlers, as known the pied noir, were anything but French..They were Maltese, Italians, Spanish, Germans..they were 1 million of them, all armed and protected by an army all categories included of 1 million soldiers with vast NATO equipment that stocked in France at their disposal..Imagine all that againt 10,000,000 of us uprooted from our lands and living in abject poverty...Really you have no idea what we were facing...

Hamas and Islamic jihad were just military groups in the eighties until Hamas joined the political scene. So Hamas isn't involved in this, they are a lot stronger but the three Palestinians killed two days ago belonged to Islamic jihad. They do joint training together and are the two strongest military organizations in Gaza. In Gaza there is more than one, others are Abu Ali Mustafa brigades, Nasser Salah brigades, Al Aqsa brigades.....

Islamic jihad responded by purposefully firing some of the rockets at open areas to avoid further escalation and Israel did the same, fired at deserted areas. Rockets used were short range homemade ones too....

The last rocket was fired by Abu Ali mustafa brigades I believe but it's largely calm since there was a ceasefire announced.
