Pak's Criminal Enterprise: Can the State free the People?

We are not surprised!

We had faith and we have faith in our armed forces... and today''s annoucement by the #DGISPR is just a validation of this faith.

Thankyou Pak Army for protecting Pak from all enemies!

#NoNRO

Now let us draw a parallel between our armed forces and the #CriminalEnterprise .... Dawnleaks, Memogate, Noora interview to Dawn used against us in ICJ in The Heague... and yet... still...nothing... only Billo/Tweetni spreading their hate against Pak Army and undermining the Idea of Pakistan

But yeah...

These parasites and #CriminalEnterprise has stolen the future of our generations and even today we cann't try these #EconomicTerrorists because all our civilian instituitions are under total capture and ruin.

Why can't these #EconomicTerrorists be tried under Anti Economic Terrorism Act?

We know for a fact that this #MarasiParliment #MarasiMedia and #LifafaJurnos are never going to allow anything such like to happen...

5000 people are holding a nuclear powered nation of 220million hostage.

We didn't make Pakistan to become slaves for these #EconomicTerrorists

#DandayWaliSarkar is coming!

Slowly and steadily, we are learning, inching towards betterment. InshaAllah, one day will solve all our internal issues and be able to help our friends and brothers for peace & progress. Good to neutralise the compromised bugs as it sends a clear message.

The deep state has many creative options to deal with traitors till the above happens --- yet they don't do it. I have personally had numerous discussions with people who have had the power to take matters into their own hands for the good of the country yet all they could come up with are pathetic excuses.
Sir, sometimes I think we get overly critical and I'm equal culprit but then when I take everything into account and still there are things that lie beyond my sight.. I think state the acts in our interests but some of decision or methods could have been better.

Sir with all due respect let me recap some history from the "grate" ghaznavi to mughals to the pommies and their bast*rd children a.k.a pak politicians and bureaucrats there is one common denominator attack/rule/govern these bloody people loot/plunder and then take the stash to homeland/abroad I call this invader psychology. Mughals only stopped sending money/loot to kabul when unfriendly govts had taken roots there, despite that babur still missed "kharbooza" from kabul. This psychology is evident in our society we feel safe in sending/stashing money abroad, making huge investments there, send our children there because deep in the hearts people still dont consider pakistan as their homeland.

Fact 2, who were the people who actually sacrificed for independence of pakistan not Punjabi (west punjabis) east punjabis like my forefathers is a different story, not sindhis, not pashtuns and definitely not balochs, it was mainly the east punjabis and those we so lightly call muhajirs they were the ones who scarified a lot, feudals of west punjab only supported Quaid when they realized that division of india is inevitable and Pakistan will become a reality. Most of the people here don't understand the word sacrifice for homeland. one example in british india minimum age for matric exam was 16 years, I am aware of only one example where a 13 years old was allowed to appear in matric exam with certain pre conditions, only due to the reasons that he was truly a genius and son of chief engineer for 7 states. Eventually he stood at no 3 position in all india board, viceroy invited him and gave him the degree along a certain title, lots of lands and scholarship abroad. He became one of the youngest engineer to have graduated from UK, became engineer to three states at an age of less than 30. When Pakistan came into being he was asked just once to serve the new country he left everything in india the title, lands, money sacrificed 1 brother and 1 sister to sikh hordes despite belonging to a bluest of the blueblood line, only to be overlooked pushed back never given his rightful place yet he loved this country till his death, never filed for any claim even for a single penny, gave majority of his savings to "Qarz utaro mulk sanwaro program". He was my grand father there are millions of examples of such sacrifices. The feudals on the other hand right after independence formed evacuee trust property board/enemy property boards and confiscated majority of prime lands.

People growing in such a society never learn the value of independence. Independence always calls for sacrifices in blood not many have paid it, rather desecrated the land, plundered it did everything which is against the laws of nature, despite having unwavering faith in the future of Pakistan I know for certain that the time for bloodshed is coming up and we will have to pay, whether I survive or not but this country will and prosper. Time for culling is almost upon us much as I detest but it is coming, and after that we will get our rightful place in the world. What has been happening in the last few years are steps in the right direction although our pace is slow but we are moving towards greatness.

People often criticize Armed forces for many things I ask one simple question where do they come from?, dont they come from this very society? if they are corrupt/or anything it only means the society in general has the same traits. Quaid said it will take them 100 years to become a nation well we are almost there to become a nation.

...This is an Existentail Choice for Pak State... continue with the current state of affairs or choose what is good for all Paks.
In 1971 Pakistanis were faced with that decision. The choice was to split the country in two for the good of all Paks.

When talking about "corruption" in Pakistan I think it's important to look at the background: British India was a colonial enterprise that, while beneficial to many, nevertheless had the Brits skimming the cream of the country. As Partition approached the priorities of fathers of Pakistan and India differed: the Indians were concerned about education and development their new government would deliver, whereas the Pakistani leaders concerned themselves exclusively with coercive instruments that they would soon control.

So corruption was in place from the beginning, as Pakistani leaders saw themselves as wielding all the power they could, regardless of what legal and lawful authority of their duties might have been. The Pakistani State was built from nepotism and continued corruption, this time with Pakistanis on top instead of the Brits. Pakistani leaders broke many promises and feared accountability of the populace and yielded control to the military rather than settle their differences and build an accountable State.

These attitudes still pervade Pakistan today. Those who champion accountability are still seen by the State as enemies whereas criminals with important clients are allowed to prosper, just as thugs with rich clients did under the nose of the Brits.

So corruption isn't by chance or disorder or dishonesty or incompetence - it's part of the system. The election of IK to PM may be an effort to change this but I don't see what levers are under his control to really improve matters, especially since elected officials don't run so much of the show anymore. And the military doesn't accept the need for accountability for itself - only for others to be accountable to the military.

Dear Solomon,

Thankyou for your input. We shall take it onboard.

6.0 points for effort: You invested time, you focused and took the trouble to compose it into a your thesis. You did your best to make corruption unique to Pak. Quite understandable....

2.0 points for originality: Would have been nice to take a step back, take time... do some future pacing...and then try something not already tried. Tall order..however, such a process does force a relatively newer angle.

1.0 points for coming to the punch line:
It is known from good people like yourself to be compulsive about tying everything to Our Pak Armed Forces... so tying up your thesis to the punch line was almost slack... You could have been more subtle or left as question mark,...more effective!

Regardless, Life is Hero's Journey and all stories have been told. We all think we are living something new... perhaps we become alive when we die.

Anyhow, it doesn't matter whether you are Jewish or an indian pretending to be one... our Pak Jews live here in Our Land and some have moved to Israel but still miss their homeland and speak Urdu.

But if you just wanted a chuska.... then of course, 10 points!

Next time try for getting better scores!

Regards,

Mangus

PS. Since Our Land is older than Sumer... we have seen and lived all the stories... one of our priceless wisdom is

Kutti chuskay laindi bus dae thalae a gai

(Let me check with our resident sholar on such matters... @RIWWIR brother did I capture our timeless wisdom correctly? )

Yes. Very correct as well as appropriate. People alternatively use, "Maza", "Swaad", and "Chaska", in this proverb.

No, it's not all tied to the Pakistani military. Pakistani civilian leaders were in the forefront of corruption from Partition to Zia's coup; after that, the military pushed to the front. But all have been part of a deliberately crooked system. When the military pulled back a bit in the 1990s Nawaz Sharif tried to become a dictator, yes?

I think you had to be crooked just to get ahead and honest people were not trusted to be anything other than support.

Getting out of this pickle is difficult but not impossible. It involves coming clean on the part of the perps and a measure of forgiveness on the part of the victims - but only on the condition of forging a new deal, a new and more accountable social contract of governance. Partial efforts can improve things but the change may be temporary and ultimately fleeting, as in Khruschev's efforts to de-Stalinize the Soviet Union.

Yes, maza came to mind... however, given kutti was alone in this particular case... so I took the liberty of employing chuska as operative vehicle....

Regardless, let us focus on our on matters... Noora is trying to protect judiciary... feed him dal rotti... common toilet.

Tweetni has attacked our state in her 28th speech and now nooraz are doing TV-TV-politics to protect judges... is it Chuska, Maza or Swaad? Or kira in darkness?

I don't think, they are protecting judiciary. They are protecting Noora judges, who are their last hope, under the circumstances.

no the system is rotten and ppl on top of the system dont want to fix it or change it bhutto will keep lotting shareef will keep ruling electables will keep ruling! fauji enterprise will keep expanding and awaam will be treated like cockroaches!

Hi,

Here is what happened with the politicians---.

After Zia's coup---they found out that they could not live without the help of the military---.

So---they tried to find connections with the military---and what better connection than marrying their daughters to the army officers sons to start with---and later marrying their sons to army officers daughters---.

That is one part of how corruption got into the military on a vast scale---.

We are not surprised!

We had faith and we have faith in our armed forces... and today''s annoucement by the #DGISPR is just a validation of this faith.

All the politicians are in a shock today---and may I say in many a regions of the world as well---.

Shocked at pak military starting the cleanup---.

My dear Pak,

I do agree with you... but it was the same #CriminalEnterprise which stopped Jinnah's pointman to inact the land and educaiton reforms... the roots are deep.

Just blaming the frontman won't solve the problem... the rootcause is the coconuts and their thinking....

My thesis is that Pak has lost the Purpose it was created... until Pak returns to that Purpose all the mess would keep growing...

Pak still is the Promised Land.

Regards,

Mangus
Forgive my ignorance but who was Quaid e Azum's point man and when were these land reforms?

. . .
That's why Perservation of the State is Highest Virtue.

I disagree. The state must serve me not the other way around. If the state does not provide me with basic services I can simply finance a different state that does.

FYI this is how the British gained power in the subcontinent. The people were tired of their corrupt rulers and preferred the foreign alternative.

What is the solution to remedy this Crime Agianst Humanity:

NAB is not going to do jack... the parliment is not going to pass a law against itself...

The current constituition of Pak has an article that guarantees Right to Life.

A petition needs to be filed in SC of Pak that Crimes Against Humanity have been committed and it needs to declare it as such. There is so much data available about number deaths, kids out of schools, sale of public assets at fire sale prices etc.

The key is legal framing of the Crime Agianst Humanity and the evidence to support it.

Now that PMIK has announced a High Powered Commission to evaluate national debt it is high time to develop a legal underpinning for it.

We can never get rid of corruption unless the corrupts are not punished. And punished so harshly that at least two next generations would not even think about it.

NAB is an impotent instituition which costs more money than it can possibly recover. Futhermore, it is a thoroughly compromised agency with planted funcationaries of NooraLeague and ZardariLeague...

Without creating a linkage of organised corruptions of these emperial houses with Crimes Against Humanity the job will be half baked.

Critical in this regard is to involve honest and credible economists to this commission who can calculate the scale of economic loss and its effects in lost-future for the Young Paks.

It is not just theft of public funds... its the lasting effects of such theft... if 40% have stunted growth...that means 40% are condemned to live a sub-human life... and might not be able to produce a healthy new generation.

The findings of this High Powered Commission need to be wholistic and cases needs to be built under Crimes Against Humanity Act. Herein Right to Life provision of Pakistan Consituition is the key.

PMIK would do the Nation a favour if he/his team can have supervision of the Pakistan Supreme Court.. in other words it is the responsibility of Pak State now... not of GoP.

By involving the major agencies in investigation for the first time... it appears that the Pak State as a whole is standing behind PMIK's announcement.

The Scope needs to contain all aspects of State's life... from media, judges, policos, sports, bureaucrats to generals... and of course, #DieselMullahs and #NGOLoving #KhooniLiberals

There is not going to be any second chances... becuase the #CriminalEnterprise will strike back with vengence if it escapse Justice this time.

Do or Die.
