If you read history, half of the things linked to ZAB wad already passed in parliament by Bhutto before him....The only wrong he did was not stop it, not challenge it and not change it. But blaming him for the initiation started by Bhutto is wrong...
As for writing Fatima's name on dogs....I have never heard nor did I ever see it. I am almost certain it is one of the many rumours / accusations thrown left and right to make ZAB look human as compared to others....like how his policies and blame of what he initiated went onto Zia by none other than his own followers....Zia was in fact blamed by Bhutto and his followers to make Bhutto look like a saint. There is also a conspiracy theory that the first few publications criminalising Zia actually started in America and was quickly picked up by Bhutto supporters as scapegoat for to show their dead as some Saint
Don't get me wrong I think Zia was also wrong for not having the foresight to see Bhuttos policy spin out of control and stop it...
I have always been for cutting out this privileges and perks or limiting it. A poor country shouldn't be affording endless privileges to no matter who! Just a fixed pay is good enough. You want luxury you manage your salary don't juice the country!
I have stated many times people in parliament should be devoid of all privileges then only will we get honest people who really want to work for change coming in politics because right now all we have at every level (esp politics) are people who come for perks or to juice the country.
I know of associate professor level people whose mentality is restricted to grab a job and wait for pension don't care about research....If this is the mentality of top level uni people what can we expect from others?
Then you have people in parliament who wanted to increase their salaries? I called those stupid. ..how are you supposed to realize the plight of the people when you sit in castles with privileged? I even suggest loadshedding for people in higher ups so they realize what suffering the people go through.
As for making it sticky we have a similar thread by
@WAJsal sometime back:
https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/the-system-by-wajsal.455694/
I haven't read his thoroughly but I think it is related:
https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/the-system-by-wajsal.455694/
I could merge the two if they are similar or make yours sticky on its own....
