...AWC is working on a Shahpar-II (Yes you heard it first here) which is supposed to be larger in size than the Shahpar, have a hump like a predator (ie a satellite link) and be armed.

Glad to see that we have (almost) official confirmation of the above. I am not surprised since being armed was one of the goals of Shahpar II.

Glad to see that we have (almost) official confirmation of the above. I am not surprised since being armed was one of the goals of Shahpar II.

The Shahpar series of UAVs is designed to be unarmed, and purely for surveillance. People are free to correct me if I'm wrong.

The Buraq UCAV is the only locally made armed drone, of course with heavy Chinese technical input.

all surveillance drones can be used as suicide drones by adding in a few kilograms of explosives.

Disappointing if it can carry only 2 missile despite an upgrade. With all the modifications it should at least be able to carry 4 Burq missile. This looks like a photoshop so i will wait for an official unveiling so hope for best.
