All international vessels are warned of entering Pakistani Territorial waters by India in case of a blockade. If they chose to ignore that, they do so at own risk - risk of being bombed intentionally or unintentionally in case of plausible deniability if India wants to go that far.
Lastly, to enforce a blockade, no ship needs to be present to board and seize contraband. If a blockade is what IN has in mind for Pakistan, all the existing ports of Pakistan along its entire coastline will be bombed either by missiles, or by planes. For any kind of major imports like Oil, you will need those major terminals
All fancy plans aside , IN is not what you consider it to be ... Why haven't you assumed the Pakistani retaliation with traditional weapons ? Didn't suit your bollywood script , huh ? ... Even if i assume it is , capable of destroying and blockading Pakistani ports and other facilities without suffering unacceptable damage , do you remember what do we do even when we are not threatened ? ... Now just replace the scenario with " threatened " and then with " the integrity of the country is in danger " conditions ... Remember 8 seconds warning , amigo ?
Mate, India has done this before - attacked and rendered non functional Karachi port. India will attack any infrastructure of Pakistan that it deems can be useful in running the Pakistani war effort.
Sorry , but there is no similarity of any kind whatsoever between then Pakistan and the one today ... You have mobilized forces 3 times since then , backed off each time unilaterally , ever cared to think " Why so ? "
Some appear to be under the illusion mostly on the other side of the border ...^^ expensive but doable. War is bloody business no side will be under the illusion they are going to come off intact.
