Whether no one foresaw the rise of TTP is irrelevant. The real question is what to do about it now.



Sir, the monster may or may not have been created by foreign parents, but now it lives and thrives in Pakistan as a naturalized citizen. Now, it is Pakistan's monster going by that measure.

I dont think anyone is in any confusion about what to do with the monster, it is obvious - kill it. But more will be the born until the core conditions which led to it's birth are analysed and steps to taken ensure it doesn't happen again.

All I am saying these terrorist organizations are like a cancer - you have to get them all or it doesn't matter.

A monster can't be tamed or domesticated. It can only be neuteralized. If the monster is operated by others it seizes to be a monster and becomes a tool, remove the battery and its off. So a monster has to be independent in its actions.

Now TTP is either a tool or a monster. If its a monster it must be neuteralized. Else it won't be limited to be a 'Pakistan's monster'. It'll spread and multiply. There's requirement of collective effort.

If Saddam can be found for using chemical weapons, why not TTP leadership for heinous crimes like APS and Bacha Khan University incidents. World leaders must think about.
