Dear Pakistanis, Just two years of hardships. And I strongly believe that in coming years situation will be much better.
Everyone has his opinion and I respect that but as far as my opinion for IK is concerned, I strongly believe he is working hard. 60 years of filth, corruption, lawlessness is not easy to eradicate given that everyone including bureaucracy, media is against you.
Hate IK, abuse him if you want to but don't compare him with Ganja Zardari & Co who mercilessly looted this country for the past 40 years.

. . . .
Economic outlooks most of the time turn out to be BS, no one in US was prepared for 2008 economic crash, it never showed up in any economic outlooks of US prior to that.

You are preaching to the choir. We Pakistanis love sensationalism because we don’t have anything better to do.

Yes.. World bank is optimistic about Pakistan

It's wrong in this instance.

Lack of entertainment facilities is a major problem for resident Pakistanis. The only option really is eating out.

I was watching this CNN vid the other day and I saw that a cruise ship out on the ocean has more options than Karachi city!

No it’s quite correct. It also agrees with the steps being taken to revive the economy.

There are plenty of opportunities now, we just like sitting on our a$$es and acting philosophical. Otherwise , in ISB , there are plenty better of activities e.g paintball, go karting, trekking , good parks etc.

I'm not in isloo tho

Devaluation and fuel price increases will take inflation to double digits this financial year and that will continue through the next FY too. The PTI govt. has been holding back on fuel price increases but it'll have to pass them onto consumers now.

Global oil prices are up. Pakistanis are still paying less then India or BD.

At the moment no one can predict what will happen in 24hrs and we are being asked to swallow a prediction 2-3 years ahead ??

There is massive instability and erosion in Pakistan's economy whose outcome even 5 months from now, cannot be predicted

It's debatable if Imran will be PM in a year or even if democracy will be replaced by presidential ( ie military ) rule with the constitution discarded into the dustbin of history

The PM and SBP predicts a stable dollar rate of ~ 140 and 24 hrs later its at 150

The rupee will be devalued. Make peace with that. What else is the instability you talk of? Stock markets? Always were instable . The average index is the same as per the last 5 years. Also I highly doubt any of us were ever capable of predicting the economy. We are not economic experts. You can believe what you wish to, I believe the World bank which said these reforms are necessary and are correct.

You shouldn’t believe everything you see on TV.
