An observation would be talking about the foolishness and bigotry of that particular poster...

By stating that somehow Indians want a theocratic state like Pakistan, you're making a generalization..

Lets make one thing clear..
Pakistanis wanted a seperate land for muslims...you got it...
Pakistanis wanted "sharia-like" law (or at least allowed a dictator to impose it)...you got it.

Indians on the other hand have been in clear majority with regards to religion.If we wanted to, we could have opted to be "Hindustan" as opposed to "India" throughout our 60+ year history and not a soul could have stopped us. The fact that we dont want a Hindu India and continue to maintain our secular principles should speak enough about our intent. hell if we really hated the muslims, what better way that to take away their rights than to make laws "hindu" biased? Hell even when Hindu nationalistic parties were in power, no attempt was made to sideline muslims. In fact it was the Hindu nationalists that initiated the Lahore peace process...

Again...Indians care about India more than religion. Its a fact. We as a nation are not answerable to the individual notions and opinions of every nutjob on the net
