Pakistan's Forces at Siachin - World's highest battlefield

.
Have a look your history book, I don't want to evaluate your IQ.

Lol evaluate your brains first dude!! India never fought a war with Pakistan in 1962 Mr. IQ Man. It was the Sino India war that happened in 1962.

.
Are you really a slow reaction? I say is 1962 Chinese put you beat, did not say that the Pakistan, have a look good records? Seriously question your intelligence.

Dude, we are talking of siachin and if there is anything that has something to do with Siachin its Pakistan and the fight is over it. You squeeze in 1962 and say India defeat. What was I to Believe ? Should have I believed that you lost your mind?

I can only imagine the Indian army sitting at heights looking down at this photo shoot while sipping some rum.

Thanks for sharing this really great piece information. Now I understand why Indian casualties are so high in Siachin. Drinking alcohol at high altitudes is sure shot guarantee for getting pulmonary edema, the biggest cause of death at high altitudes.

Whats stopping them to take the peak then ? lol

Only idiots want be at the peaks. They don't get any strategic advantage just get their people killed from altitude sickness.

Lol... Your incompetence to capture heights has an explanation now.

Incompetence?

We just don't want to lose any more soldiers while trying to get that absolutely useless height. It has no advantage..whether tactical or strategic.

Why would we keep trying to get it?

Meanwhile, we captured and still hold strategic indian heights like Point 5353, Dalu Nag, and Saddle Ridge..all these heights have tactical as well as strategic importance..since these heights can be used to direct bombardment of indian supply-lines as these heights over-look major indian supply route in Kashmir/Kargil region etc.

pathetic indian army tried to take these heights from Pakistan..and were beaten back like dogs  so much so that indian army just "left" their strategic heights in enemy's hands..

@Stealth, great work as always bro..... will catch up with you next time i'm in town.
As for the inhospitable environment, this is how both sides are benefitting.

The Siachen dispute has resulted in thousands of casualties from both sides, mainly because of adverse climatic conditions and harsh terrain. This is despite the fact that leaders in Islamabad and New Delhi keep acknowledging the human and economic costs of the conflict. According to careful estimates by defence analysts, Pakistan spends approximately Rs15 million a day to maintain three battalions at the Siachen Glacier, which makes Rs450 million a month and Rs5.4 billion a year. On the other hand, the deployment of seven battalions at the Glacier costs India Rs50 million a day, Rs1.5 billion a month and Rs30 billion a year.
On an average, defence experts say, one Pakistani soldier is killed every third day on the Siachen Glacier, showing approximately 100 casualties every year on an average. Similarly, one Indian soldier is killed every other day on the Siachen Glacier, at an annual average of 180 casualties. According to unofficial figures, over 3,000 Pakistani soldiers have lost their lives on the bloody Siachen Glacier between April 1984 and April 2012 as against over 5,000 Indian casualties. At present, there are approximately 7,000 Indian Army troops and about 4,000 Pakistani troops stationed at the Siachen Glacier.
