Incompetence?
We just don't want to lose any more soldiers while trying to get that absolutely useless height. It has no advantage..whether tactical or strategic.
Why would we keep trying to get it?
Meanwhile, we captured and still hold strategic indian heights like Point 5353, Dalu Nag, and Saddle Ridge..all these heights have tactical as well as strategic importance..since these heights can be used to direct bombardment of indian supply-lines as these heights over-look major indian supply route in Kashmir/Kargil region etc.
pathetic indian army tried to take these heights from Pakistan..and were beaten back like dogs so much so that indian army just "left" their strategic heights in enemy's hands..

Frozen wasteland?? This is the most important place for your survivability..Still your pride of occupying a frozen wasteland is humorous and childish to say the least.
Pakistan wanted to occupy the same frozen wasteland , no? I'd say the pride is justified

The Siachen glacier is considered to be the largest single source of fresh water on the Indian subcontinent.
It is located in the Karakoram range. Siachen is the source of the Nubra River that eventually feeds the mighty Indus— the major water source that irrigates the Punjab plains in Pakistan.
Preliminary findings of a survey byPakistan Meteorological Department in 2007 revealed that the Siachen glacier has been retreating for the past 30 years and is melting at an alarming rate. The study of satellite images of the glacier showed that the glacier is retreating at a rate of about 110 meters a year and that the glacier size has decreased by almost 35 percent. In an eleven-year period, the glacier had receded nearly 800 meters and in seventeen years about 1700 meters. It is predicted that the glaciers of the Siachen region will be reduced to about one-fifth of their current size by 2035.
Now say Millitary presence in Siachin never affects Pakistan..
Nope. We just acted to India's aggression. Keep sitting at the Siachen and keep looking at KKH from there. Oh wait. You can't see KKH from Siachen.
they can just dream of capturing the karakoram highway lol our f16s are there in skardu waiting for these cowards
