Pakistan's Forces at Siachin - World's highest battlefield

Part of it mate.... Both armies are there in siachin.....
Pakistan is nowhere near Siachen...They are far West of the Soltoro Ridge.

Incompetence?

We just don't want to lose any more soldiers while trying to get that absolutely useless height. It has no advantage..whether tactical or strategic.

Why would we keep trying to get it?

Meanwhile, we captured and still hold strategic indian heights like Point 5353, Dalu Nag, and Saddle Ridge..all these heights have tactical as well as strategic importance..since these heights can be used to direct bombardment of indian supply-lines as these heights over-look major indian supply route in Kashmir/Kargil region etc.

pathetic indian army tried to take these heights from Pakistan..and were beaten back like dogs  so much so that indian army just "left" their strategic heights in enemy's hands..

If we can take the surrounding peaks effortlessly from the Pakistani Military and has left this one at your hands, either we are idiots, which is highly unlikely or you are fooling around.. we have you covered over there and you cannot do shit about it, forget having a blockade.

We might have left it for a plain logic that this peak is anyways surrounded and your supplies to this will be blockaded and will be in our hands effortlessly aswell..

Siachin is an area where you are trying hard to capture but dying at the hands of nature and the Indian Army.

Still your pride of occupying a frozen wasteland is humorous and childish to say the least.
Frozen wasteland?? This is the most important place for your survivability..
The Siachen glacier is considered to be the largest single source of fresh water on the Indian subcontinent.
It is located in the Karakoram range. Siachen is the source of the Nubra River that eventually feeds the mighty Indus— the major water source that irrigates the Punjab plains in Pakistan.

Preliminary findings of a survey byPakistan Meteorological Department in 2007 revealed that the Siachen glacier has been retreating for the past 30 years and is melting at an alarming rate. The study of satellite images of the glacier showed that the glacier is retreating at a rate of about 110 meters a year and that the glacier size has decreased by almost 35 percent. In an eleven-year period, the glacier had receded nearly 800 meters and in seventeen years about 1700 meters. It is predicted that the glaciers of the Siachen region will be reduced to about one-fifth of their current size by 2035.
Now say Millitary presence in Siachin never affects Pakistan..

Pakistan wanted to occupy the same frozen wasteland , no? I'd say the pride is justified

actually pakistan's northern areas are heaven for adventure lovers and foreign tourists before the siachin conflict tourists normally trek and hike to siachin from pakistani side as it gives them best route to trek and come back safely we never tried to occupy the no man land even we have world's biggest glacial system baltoro they are solely for climbers and trekkers and pakistan army is in these areas to defend pakistan's boundries from indian side we have only two soldiers on chinese border this shows which country is the agressor one

Eagle's nest ;)

Haan yaar I know. It is impossible for them to move forward from there high posts in Siachen. Indians often boost about their presence and occupation on Siachen. This is hilarious considering very little Indians achieve by ocuupying that frozen wasteland. They can't control KKH from there. They can't attack major towns of GB like Skardu or Khaplu from there. They also can't move towards Baltoro to occupy much higher peaks like K2 or Gasherbrum 1 or 2 or broad peak. The only strategic value these fools bring for their occupation is that they are stopping Pakistan to connect with China at Karakorum pass and thus stopping their imaginary joint invasion on Ladakh. Like who in his right mind would chose Siachen to invade India.

Anyways this occupation of Siachen looks more like a ego boosting practice where Indians occupied a part of land after losing whole GB region to Pakistan. In Urdu for such situation we call it like "bhagtai chor ki langoti hi sahi". If not GB, at least we have the Siachen. Gives a good boost to jingoism and ego to our eastern friends.

We are not taught fabricated history here like in pakistan . Maybe you are one of those several pakistanis who believe pak won all wars against India and now is in the occupation of kashmir and also liberated bangladesh in 1971 from cruel India:lol:

It was just another ego boosting post by a bharati. Have seen a lot of them on this forum. East Paksitan, 71, 65. Siachen. Jumping here and there. Nothing new. These egoistic and jingoistic bharati posts are not worth replies more than a line. You ate lucky that at least i am replying to your moronic posts.

cool pics, brave soldiers on both sides but ultimately fighting for what is essentially a worthless sliver of uninhabitable land.
