This is why the faujeets and their patwari and jiala supporters are angry. Their nakedness has been exposed.

Ik himself is part of the elite. This is a joke.
He is a narcissistic buffoon pied pipering his way but the PTI was an important vessel for the educated middle class. They are now fully disillusioned and disenfranchised for all intents and purposes - without them, Pakistan is doomed to be the banana republic it is led by Admiral General Aladeens or Shehenshah Bhuttos

The Elite in Britain Helped Britain become a Global Power and Played its role in winning two world wars!

What has Pakistani Elite done for Pakistan?

hitler turned germany into super power. asim munir whisky turned pakistan into pukka power.

In response to the post you quoted, whatever IK was, he most definitely wasn't and isn't part of the elite.

I don't think most people even realize who the true elite of the country are. The likes of Manshas, Tabbas, AKD, JKT, Sharifs, Bhuttos, Mukhtars, Dawoods, and a few others. These people shape the policy and direction of the country for the most part without us suckers even knowing about it.

IK does not have the industrial, political, or feudal clout to be mentioned among those names.

If popular politics is your career choice, Pakistan may not well be a good employer for you. Political exploitation of the masses is a constitutional offence in theory.

Mujeeb and Bhutto gave us Bangladesh. Their legacy can be best described as corporate political feudalism. Mr. Sharif recently went 'revolutionary' for putting his business above state policy.

Lol bhutto and mujeeb gave bangladesh! And what is legacy of your yahya?

Ik himself is part of the elite. This is a joke.

Lol and the khaki creatures represent public?

if the elite would walk with a finger up their backside to be useful but they are not even able to achieve that.

problem is elite are parasite thinkers, they dont think in terms we all can eat and enjoy prosperity by allowing progress but instead they want quick riches, and the ppl who suppose to stop them are also parasite so they take a petty cut and allow it.

atleast hitler and stalin lived for their ideology not money.

this elite is a gift of colonial british to serve their white masters and be moles among their own kind. That is why this elite is up the backside of the western world. so long as this elite exists then Pakistan is doomed.

Pakistan can do with a stalin. demolish the slave people and the elite then explode the junta as well.

Suck the GHQ establishment off.

The elite in Pakistan are the same folks who cooperated with British rule. Replace British with GHQ.

Same mentality.

The jinn of knowledge is out of the bottle. They can cry and scream and hurl insults, murder, torture and rape but the jinn is not going back.

IK wasn’t part of the elite when this happened - but he has rubbed shoulders with everyone and now is on the PTI trip. His downfall is his own ego and narcissistic personality.

But what he created in Shaukat Khanum and other initiatives is much better than anything that manshas or others did. Because that is where his Oxford education and knowing to listen to educated people on occasion paid off.. Benazir was the same but then Allah tied her to the devil himself.

You’re right. In terms of wealth Imran Khan is not that rich compared to the blood-sucking, parasitic elite of Pakistan. He’s not one of them because he’s financially honest. Therefore he would probably be classified as upper-middle-class.

But in prestige, in Pakistan and around the world, he’s at the top of the pyramid. In UK he went to Oxford, used to mix with royals, married a billionaire’s daughter and could have lived a life of luxury if he stayed there. He could have been a member of the UK elite if he wanted.

So it all depends in how you define ‘elite.’

There are many screw ups on his part and due to the sad state of human capital. Even if you find someone who isn't corrupt, they are still incompetent.

There's a nice verse from the Qur'an https://quran.com/12/55 to ponder. Yusuf, when asking to be appointed to position of authority, describes himself hafeez (protector or trustworthy) and aleem (knowledgeable). Meaning to be an effective leader, you should not be corrupt, but you should be competent.

Still, what's the point of these discussions on leadership qualities when establishment calls the shots? I had a nagging feeling when Imran Khan took over, that the establishment was only using him to stabilize the economy nuked by PMLN and Darnomics for a second time. I feel this was proven with his removal, which coincided with the economic conditions stabilizing by the 3rd year. After that, there was no need to keep him and the establishment reverted back to the status quo they love, PMLN & PPP.
