Pakistan’s defence in strong hands: COAS

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has said on Thursday that defence of Pakistan is in strong hands.

The army chief stated this while talking to media persons outside the Parliament House after joint session here on Thursday.

To a question regarding violation of ceasefire by Indian troops along the Line of Control (LoC), COAS said: “There is no need to worry as the country’s defence is in strong hands and your guards are vigilant at the borders.”

While welcoming Turkish President’s Recep Tayyip Erdogan address to the joint sitting of Parliament, Army Chief General Raheel Sharif said that Pakistan has longstanding brotherly ties with Turkey and both countries always stood with each other in hour of need.

In an informal chat with media persons, COAS General Raheel Sharif said that the Turkish President’s address would further strengthen the cordial relations between the two countries.

He said government and people of Turkey always supported Pakistan on Kashmir issue. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed the joint session from the core of his heart, he added.

It's funny that not much has been discussed on the new COAS. It's almost time for him to retire and we've hardly gained an idea of who will be chosen.

Indeed, people must feel the confident as what Chief said because our politician have already created much panic due to their own personal and political gains that even never miss a chance to malign the Military yet the Boss has to speak for the people of Pakistan.

The current statement at Parliament as well as the speech at Ex-Ra'ad Al Barq was much needed in these crucial times whereby the Rival was taking full advantage due to the statement silence of Pakistani Ruling Class. The Boss has to comeforth only due to negligence and incompetence of the political officials due to their silence on such matters whereby it was their duty to do so and must present the Nation with High Moral which is indeed missing in these political brigades.

The ruling politicians should have already played their rule and must have issued all the statements with active diplomacy but irony is, there is none or not even a single person which can fulfill his/her duty in such times and due to the same absence of such stance from political side, having no other choice but being the COAS, he has to do so which was the responsibility of Political Government at large yet such brigade has no time except to malign and defame the most trusted and respected Institution of Pakistan.

The statement and such presser from the COAS are not new but as we, the nation is not very use to or in other words, there has been less role of any General in past that it may seem surprising to some and still being deluded and fooled by double face politicians, these blinded supporters would utter any confusing or propagated view only on behest of Royal Politicians.

Very well done Boss, Salute and Respect for sending a loud and clear message to the enemy which was much needed in these times that the adversary may not be at any misunderstanding or ill-thoughts.

Raheel Sharif needs a military takeover of the Country. It's a brilliant time with America on the decline & Trump is anti Pakistan anyway. Allow Russian & Chinese bases on Pak soil & sea ports, expelling the US embassy & military contracts & purchases. Seek Chinese aid & double the military & hang the bastard Mullah's from Lal Masjid. Military coup is not an option, you have seen the past... After a while the military become corrupt and then the locals that pulling fingers and the military. Military coup should ONLY be used as a last resort option. + If the military take over then defense wise their work is majorly effected.
