Pakistan’s Cutting Edge Technology On Display

Isreali one was equipped with NV and thermal imaging .
And the Israeli one probably also had a Kippah, :D
So what dude, these are prototypes, in due course they will mature and add more features on them.
Do we scrap the JF-17 because unlike the F-16 it doesn't deliver nuclear weapons.

It's great technology but from which angle it's cutting edge
Qibla, until your SU-35s arrive, we will settle for this technology. :D

. . .
Really good start,
Lets make them meaner, heavier, especially to cope with incoming fire and also the recoil of the mounted gun

.
as per the demo video it has to much recoil a good stabilizer may be required to work at full auto.

.
Very nice. Needs to be enhanced with automatic target acquisition, stabilization, and better ammo capacity.

Is the name RATTLER derived from its loud rolling sound that will alert the enemy that something is approaching their position? Looks like a basic system, a little unstable for hilly terrain & limited capacity to carry the ammunition container on board

Several things here to discuss bro. The robots will be for holding ground and guarding, it will be the terrorists who will have to roll up and engage, upon which several fire robots could literally cut them down very quickly. Even if the terrorists are alerted they will have to engage the robot or have their head blown off, these are precious seconds in combat which will have them reveal their positions and make them very vulnerable to fire from the robot's human comrades.
I thought the videos showed that the robots handled the terrain well, of course it's working progress. It would be good to see some of these up on the Afghan border and various bases throughout the country.
We must not also forget the intimidation factor which is great i.e. a robot which can kill you.

Frankly in this stage and slow speed of this autobot, one grenade explosion from its blindside will impale it for good. In today’s world if you want to make something, make it better than what already exists. This RATLLER is primarily for CQB clearance but it is highly susceptible to enemy return fire or a grenade.

The fact still remains the enemy has to blindside the robot and come to it, which leaves him vulnerable. Aside a blind sided grenade explosion can also take a human solider as well. Also as I stated before the distraction they pose also makes it very tough for terrorists to launch assaults.

Good start . This is just prototype, long time ago i heard Pakistan is working on modern military robots

.
Yes especially baring in mind that it will be human operators with laptops who will be engaging targets. Automated software isn't still quite up to scratch although the US military has made great strides with its military MAGTF program.

give me 1 crore and i can make better copy of this mutt.

the nrtc robot is pathetic. It had many visible issue. They just made a bad prototype and displayed it in a hurry.
I donot want to mention its issues. Ager unhin koi masla nhi to hum kon han batanay wale.

Frankly I have some combat experience and I most certainly don’t feel threatened by this RATTLER. I know of so many ways to knock it out that I don’t know where to begin. It’s maybe a nice toy but I do not see it working successfully in combat situations in its current form.

So you fought in the Pakistani forces? You should have a professional tag then.
As for the many ways, sure professional troops can knock them out, but they will be facing terrorists who still rely on mass man attacks.
The key words are like you said its 'current form' which ties with what I said about working development.

I agree too, these tiny machine has not been seen in active role even in urban combat. Where it can help alot , behind the wall or edge of wall. May be good with camera mount or bomb disposal sqad. But use as mobile robo soldiers. US marine tested many robo tanks , but still testing, no deployment .... well ....

Yes, best bet is now a low cost tiny drones ...
