Pakistan’s NRTC produced “Rattler’’ remote controlled Gun and Grenade firing robots been put through their paces.

Good to have them on the Afghan border and guarding installations, bases etc as a first line of defence. When the cavemen terrorists are engaged by the robots, human troops will find it easier to take them out. Automation is an excellent tool.

Is there any range specifications, like from how much distance it may be controlled and what about anti-jamming properties of this stuff?

Not sure but if COAS is witnessing the trials then you can be sure it’s got potential and it also drew much interest during IDEAS exhibition last month.

MG's butt stock n grip needs to go to achieve more stability, strengthening the design by a wider back will take some of that recoil.

The devastating effects of such a system can be seen in the movie "law abiding citizen", guy takes out a whole convoy using just one of these babies.

I would prefer a sniper gun on the top rather than machine with options of few stabilizer at front and back so that after reaching the desired point it can take out its stabilizer and take out the enemies with less shot and more accuracy ... these machines will be more useful too take out hidden terrorist in some favourable sniper position therefore accuracy of fire is very important ...

I feel that should be left to a human sniper, as practically all of the attacks we see are swarming assaults, where terrorists concentrate volume fire onto a target/targets in order to cause maximum damage and to leave the vicinity. In such attacks multiple robots can lay down a massive amount of fire, taking out quite a few terrorists and giving Pakistani troops time to take cover and return fire accurately. Also the software behind precision strikes on single targets is more complex than simply strafing an area, or a group of people.

Different roles different specifications, this MG equipped system can provide supressing or covering fire for troops on the move. Sniping is an art, it takes a lot more than just keeping a target in ur scope n pressing the trigger to get that head shot.

Yes especially baring in mind that it will be human operators with laptops who will be engaging targets. Automated software isn't still quite up to scratch although the US military has made great strides with its military MAGTF program.
