Pakistanis posing as Afghans to go away to Australia.

We provide shelter to over 6 million Afghans, the Afghan government is in no position to summon anybody, if we turn these people out today, Afghanistan's already fragile economy will fail under the added weight.

The question is can you? Is there governance in NWFP where these afghan settlers have lived, can you enforce an exodus to begin with? Btw Afghans including your great taliban regime didn't recognize the Durand Line, So may be it's "disputed area"

many Afghans have Pakistani identity cards and pose as Pakistanis to get them (in hundreds of thousands!)

so it works both ways.....


Pakistani Passport in terms of international arena is not the biggest asset to have nowdays.......we have our people to blame for that. But if some people are willing to do anything to leave to seek a better life - they'd do something like pose as an Afghan (because Afghanistan is a war torn nation, they can claim they are seeking ''political asylum'')


i bet these Ozzies are also blind to this problem using the opposite logic....a lot of the Afghan refugees may also not have had any forms of ID except a Pak national ID. So some may have told them that they are indeed Afghans but their only ID is the N.I.D.
