Pakistani troops in FIBUA training

.
Are these regular troops or ssg in the first 5 pics, they have very nice equipment. Is this kind of webbing standard now for all troops?

. .
Who took these pictures?

Those uniforms look awesome, I wish those were the regular uniform for the whole army.

.
Regular Infantry unit in Sialkot. Nothing to do with the SSG. The pictures were taken by the Army. Webbing is the standard and so is the uniform but its making its way to all of the units so you see variation currently.

When the troops have the CCDs (new uniforms that they are wearing) and their webbing (which is included in the FSMO), they would look as you see above plus some other gear.

blain2,

Are new helmets similar to the ones in your SSG-pic in the pipeline?

.
Hey guys...i know SSG uses kevlar helmets localy produced by various private firms and AWC...but why doesnt the army switch to using the kevlar...and whats the difference b/w bullet proof jackets in service with Pak army...and those in service with US troops.

.
Is it FIBUA or simply a unit team executing Room Clearance/Entry?
In any case it is guud to see the high standards of training!

excellent pics, good to know the men are getting proper training for irregular and low intensity conflicts.

:P Health and safety issue: no helmet while rappelling :P

Troops looked AWESOME. Neat training area. Loved the red brick buildings for entry drills.

Why the different postures in the ranks? Same weapons but some are holding theirs while others are allowing them to hang freely and standing at parade rest.

Inquiring military minds wish to know.:agree:

Well S-2 you are right. Though the are standing at ease as the CAOS address them but as the weapon that they hold (the MPA2) is being held in a different way (normally it is sling-ed at the right shoulder and you keep one hand on the pistol grip and the under behind your back while at ease), some of them, especially the JCOs and NCOs are keeping both their hands on the back. The main reason behind this that you normally don't hold the SMC like this while you at a parade.

The proper way of slinging a MP5 is as shown in the pictures i.e 'Double Slinging' it over your neck and under your right arm so that when you leave it its muzzle faces the ground and you can fire immediately when threatened. This is done when you are certain that some thing wrong can happen or if you are standing at a post or patrolling or undergoing an operation, but normally we hang it on our shoulder.

In this pic as they were demonstrating an exercise and they probably have been called straight from the exercise area they are still carrying the weapons as they were during the exercise.

. . .
Sweet, lovely, they look so awesome, especially the last one where General Kiyani is standing infront of the soldiers.
Their uniform and kits look GREAT!
