A teenage girl was gang-raped after being kidnapped by four men in the Gujjarpura area, police said on Saturday. The police have also registered a case against four criminals with no arrest made yet.
A police official said that the FIR was registered on the complaint of father of the victim against four men. The victims father alleged that one Khurram kidnapped his daughter and took her to an unknown place, where Khurram and his three accomplices, unidentified so far, raped the girl at gunpoint. The victim had left her residence to fetch some edibles from a nearby shop when she abducted, the FIR said. Further investigations were underway.
Body found: An unidentified man was found shot dead from the Nolakha police precincts on early Saturday, police said. The man, yet to be identified, was lying dead alongside a road near the bus stand, close to the Lahore Railways Station as they reached the crime scene. Police investigators also said that the man sustained multiple bullet wounds, suggesting unidentified killers shot him thrice in the body. The body was removed to the morgue for autopsy. A murder case was registered against unidentified killers.
