Pioneer of the research, Muhammad Waqas Usman Hingoro from Liyari is an award-winning biologist. In the recent revolutionary step ahead, Hingoro has successfully discovered cancer-killing mechanism that is capable of treating a wide range of cancers.

Titled “Efficient RNA drug delivery using red blood cell-extracellular vesicles”, Waqas Hingoro’s research has been published in the latest edition of “Nature Communication”, world’s leading science journal.

Born and raised in Lyari, extremely capable Waqas Usman Hingoro has continued to make Pakistan proud.
After getting his Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory from the Z.A. School of Medical Technology, Karachi in 2010, he joined Aga Khan University Hospital and successfully published a number of research papers.

He later in 2013, received the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) for his Masters and was later selected at the City University of Hong Kong (CityU) as a Fulbright Ph.D. candidate.

Due to his significant contributions, “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Biomedical Sciences Forum” has awarded him the best prize out of 150 students chosen across the world.

However, there is no such thing as “Cure for cancer” or a Panacea. Anyone coming even close to finding a cure or can formulate a drug that can definitely cure even one of the deadly cancers such as Breast Cancer or Colon Cancer would become world famous in no time at all.

Small-interfering RNA is one of the therapeutic techniques used to cure cancer and many researches have been done in this regard, and of course other diseases as well.......Hepatitis C showed some promising results.....the approach is simple, DNA forms the RNA and RNA helps in protein synthesis......changing the DNA sequence is extremely challenging and risky because we still are unable to control the process......so an alternative approach is to stop the RNA making "cancerous protein."......there are already many techniques for stopping the RNA and in this case, Mr. Waqas and his team developed a new way of doing this.

I'm not sure if there can be a cure for cancer since it's just a cell division gone wrong. A sort of a mutation of the cell...
U can only stop it once it's detected. So far the treatments that exist can stop most types of cancer if detected early. In the later stages as the cancer spreads more and more throughout the body, it becomes harder and harder to treat it. This is bcuz no current treatment exists where u can kill only cancer cells. If the above treatment is not false reporting and everything works out so it is approved for use on humans...then it may be able to treat cancer at later stages.

A CURE for cancer would entail that they have discovered how to prevent cancer. For example the cure for Polio is the polio vaccination.

Has anything been discovered to prevent cancer? No. So how is this a cure?

That hasn't occured. The title is wrong and was done for clickbait.

New treatment to alleviate cancer is not a cure. This is why the term CANCER REMISSION exists because these treatments don't cure cancer...they just kill cancerous cells.

It's symptomatic treatment in a way.
