Armeena’s monochrome look or Ayesha’s saree? – Yalghaar trailer launch.
As Lollywood is gearing up to head towards new heights with movies as big as Yalghaar, Pakistani actors are also not leaving any stone unturned to prove themselves as style icons. Last night atYalghaar’s trailer launch in Karachi, the film’s female stars, Ayesha Omar and Armeena Khanstepped out in two totally different looks, but simply stole our hearts.
Let’s decode their looks for you guys-
– Armeena Khan:
Be it eastern or western clothing, Armeena Rana Khan always looks comfortable in whatever she wears. For the trailer launch event of her last night, she was seen opted for a monochrome look, and looked stunning in a lace choker jumpsuit. blood red lips, bold makeup, and a side swept flirty down ‘do.
Choker lace jumpsuit: Areeba Asif.
Handbag: Saint Laurent.
Shoe: Pretty Small Shoes.
We love the monochrome jumpsuit as much as we love her signature Saint Laurent handbag. On the whole we are huge fans of the look, and can’t wait to see what she chooses to wear at the Lahore and Islamabad press events. Keep watching this space.

– Ayesha Omar:
Even though all of us have seen Ayesha Omar doing comedy mostly, there is a whole undiscovered side to her, which we are sure will be brought forward with her new projects. Not a lot of us picture her in a saree, mainly because we do not have that ultra-girly image of the actress in our heads, but she wore one and nailed it to the core.
It’s not really only about her saree look from last night, but also a lot of her recent looks she has sported for different events. We love the poise, and the grace, but in all honesty, we hadn’t seen this before, predominantly because she picks up relatively casual clothing over formal, most of the times. In our opinion, Ayesha is the most underrated beauty Pakistani industry has.
For the trailer launch event last night, she looked beyond beautiful in an embroidered saree, with a lot of incredible handwork. To be exact, the saree is called Rothko and Tarkashi saree, because of the inspiration it derives from the works of artist, Mark Rothko.
Like Armeena, Ayesha also went for a side swept down ‘do, with a lot more curls though. Loving the bright make-up look too.
Saree: Studio S by Seher Tareen.
Clutch: Farah Talib Aziz.
Earrings: Mahrukh Akuly.
