Veteran Internationally acclaimed Pakistani television actor Rasheed Naz passed away at the age of 73.
A decent actor and outstanding artist. May Allah bless him with high ranks of Jannah. He will be remembered for long time, his performance as Akbar the great in PTV

Death Anniversary of Renowned Singer Mehnaz Begum
Mehnaz Begum was one of the most accomplished female playback singers of Pakistan. Daughter of the distinguished singer and soz khwan Kajjan Begum, Mehnaz acquired her initially training from her mother.
Born in 1958, she was not only a master of classical genres like ghazal, thumri and dadra but also specialized in reciting salam, noha and marsiya.
She made her debut at Radio Pakistan in 1973 and was placed under the tutelage of Pandit Ghulam Qadir, the elder brother of Mehdi Hassan.
In the 1970s, she became one of the most sought out voices filling up the acute shortage of credible playback singers and worked with top composers in the industry. The only singer to receive the prestigious Nigar Award for 9 years, Mehnaz Bagum passed away on 19th January 2013 in Bahrain.

Death anniversary of renowned artist Rizwan Wasti.
Syed Rizwan Wasti (1937–2011), was a famous Pakistani television and film actor and presenter. He was husband of famous TV artist Tahira Wasti and father of TV actress Laila Wasti.
Rizwan Wasti was born in Lahore in 1937. He lent his baritone voice to a variety of radio programmes and acted in several plays on PTV in the `60s, `70s and `80s, but it was his performance in the drama serial Shama. Apart from many long plays and drama series, his acting skills in Afshan, Aagahi, Uroosa and Abgeene were received with critical acclaim. He was also a banker.
He died after a prolonged illness on January 24, 2011 in Karachi. He was 74 years old.
