I finally agree with your post. The way things are transforming in Pakistan; their would not be any Hindu, Sikh, Christian, Shia, Ahamadis etc ... Because soon there would be none left.

I always wanted to visit Nankana Sahib at the old age. However, due to above reason im visiting next month...Who knows it gets flattened in near future.

Which always surprised me, since Sikhs number in thousands, while Hindus and Christians, in millions.

In 2012 Nankana Sahib was given status of Holy City (something like that) for Sikhs in Pakistan. Apparently, that is the reason for Holiday.

Its just a matter of time when Hindus here get seen as a soft target due to Modi acting like a raccoon on our borders.

Well there are many actually and the love of holidays isn't one of them.

you are mistaken, everybody likes holidays.
I was pointing to the fact that in UK, there are 8 holidays per year, 5 of them related to christianity and none related to religious minority.

We got 14 holidays in India. Now I know 14 is a big number, may be we should have less holidays. Does it mean we do away will all muslim/sikh/christian/buddist/jain holidays? I dont think thats fair.

Exactly, and also what is the percentage of hindus in Pak anyway? I have nothing against holiday for Hindus or any minorities but the logic here that to promote interfaith harmony is by giving holiday is dumb cause according to that logic places like UK don't have interfaith harmony either

Minorities are allowed to take the day off during their religious festivals (Deevali, Christmas etc). There is no need for the public holiday on Deevali. In fact, there should be only one day public holiday each for Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Adha, and Independence Day i.e. August 14 and no need for any holidays during Sept 6, March 23, labor day, Iqbal day, this day, that day, ashura etc., that is all crap.

This is how you give equal rights, public holiday for Muslim festivals and no holidays for festivals of minorities.

What it has to do with equal rights? There are no public holidays for such events in US, UK, or other countries. Minorities are most welcome to work during public holidays if they don't want to take the day off.
