Musharraf show be protected mean while his trail should be carried out under article 6 and he should be hanged. This will be a sign how strong democracy can be.

Bhag Musharaf Bhag..........Court ka order aaya............

One bullet to his head should put that threat to everlasting rest.

One is the number and location of strategic assets. And there procurement possibly from China/korea.
Second is A Q Khan angle, US, UK wants to know everything about his prior transactions of which he is privy.

One verbal threat from him would stop this train.

.
Is Gen Musharraf being arrogant, or will the Army really help him remain above the law?

Musharraf hints at tensions between state pillars

KARACHI: Hours after evading arrest, Former President Pervez Musharraf indirectly warned that the Islamabad High Court’s decision to reject his bail extension may cause “unnecessary tension amongst the various pillars of state and possibly destabilise the country.”

“We expect this unwarranted judicial activism, seemingly motivated by personal vendettas since his (Musharraf’s) return to Pakistan to participate in the upcoming elections, will cease and the Supreme Court, without prejudice, will immediately grant necessary relief following precedence and the Rule of Law; the absence of which will cause mockery of the nation,” said the statement also posted on his official Facebook page on Thursday.

The former military ruler was whisked away from the courtroom by his personal earlier on Thursday, after the IHC rejected his application for extension of bail and ordered his arrest.

The statement said the former president is filing an appeal in the Supreme Court against, what he termed, the “ill-conceived decision of Islamabad High Court.”

Maybe Army won't act now, since the indication is that he will be only house arrested. But real jail time seems like something unimaginable for someone who has served as COAS, for pride first, of course, but lastly and more importantly due to risk of kidnapping/torture and leak of national secrets.

You know the standards of Pakistani jails.

I agree with you that real jail is out of question for an ex-COAS. But perhaps the indignity of being declared to be a prisoner of law, no matter at his home declared a subjail, is the more important deterrent for those who will follow his rank.

This court case and its final decision will be important for the present and the future of Pakistan.

Only stupid would think he came to Pakistan for a suicide.
His wife knows all the transactions. he is not just a bullet away, Pakistan is, with laid bare secrets.
Take a hint.

CHIEF JUSTICE AND JUDGES TRYING TO MAKE THEIR LEGACY BEFORE RETIRING AFTER LETTING GOVERNMENT LOOT FOR 5 YEARS

ARTICLE 6 ON MUSHARAF(WHICH I SUPPORT) BUT HEARING AFTER HEARING FOR 5 YEARS OF CORRUPTION CASES AND NO ONE GOT PUNISHED IN ANY CASE

NO TERRORIST GOT HANGED IN 10 YEARS OF JUDGES AND CHIEF JUSTICE IFTHIKAR CHAUDARY

NO CORRUPT POLITICIAN WENT BEHIND BARS

NO IMPLEMENTATION OF NRO CASE

NO IMPLEMENTATION OF ASGHAR KAHN CASE AGAINST NAWAZ SHARIF AND COMPANY

ALL ARRESTED TERRORIST EITHER BALED OR RELEASED UNDER GUISE OF LAPATA AFRAD(MISSING PERSONS)

NO ACTION AGAINST BARAHIMDAG BUGTI BALUCHISTAN LIBRATION ARMY AND BALUCHISTAN LIBERATION FRONT

80 BILLION RS FRAUD CHAIRMAN OGRA TAUQEER SADIQ FREE IN UAE NOT BROUGHT BACK HOME

THIS IS AZAD ADLYIA

NOW THEY ARE JUST MAKING LEGACY BY ARTICLE 6 ON MUSHARAF WHICH I AM NOT AGAINST BUT THEY CLEVERLY LET PPP AND PMLN GOVERNMENT PASS 5 YEARS AND NO ACTION AGAINST THEM

JUST LIKE THE ELECTION COMMISSION RETURNING OFFICERS(THEY ARE FROM JUDICIARY) FOCUS ON ARTICLE 62 WITH MEDIA .THEY SHOT TWO BIRDS WITH THIS STRATEGY TO RIDICULE ISLAM AND NOT TO FOCUS ON FINANCIAL CORRUPTION AND JALI(FAKE) DEGREES

NOW CHEAP JUSTICE WILL RETIRE IN NOVEMBER 2013 WITH NO BIG FISHES BEHIND BARS AND MEDAL ON HIS CHEST FOR LEGACY TO IMPEACH MUSHARAF ON ARTICLE 6.WHICH NAWAZ GOVERNMENT AND ZARDARI HAD NOT GUTS TO APPLY ON MUSHARAF AND ROLL RED CARPET TO LET HIM OUT OF COUNTRY

ON ONE SIDE IS INDIA
ON THE OTHER IS USA,NATO+NORTHERN ALLIANCE
IN THE MIDDLE POLITICIAN ARE LOOTING
JUDICIARY IS LETTING CORRUPT PEOPLE AND TERORIST GO FREE
AND TTP IS KILLINFG PEOPLE AND ARMY

ALL AGAINST ARMY AND ISI

AND IF ARMY COMES THEY WILL ALL CHANT PAKISTAN NAKHAPAY(MURDABAD) AND HENCE CIVIL WAR

Pretty callous to try and jail a former Chief of Army Staff... Should have ordered house arrest only... If national secrets are outed or he is kidnapped by national enemies who will be responsible?

Agar on duty PM k arrest warrant nikal sakty hain tu Former COAS k kiyon nahi ? ?
Agar NS / ZAB (an elected PM) Jail ja sakta hai tu Gen (R) Pervez Mush kiyo nahi ? ?

I knew this Pakistani guy in NYC who'd always say to such things, "Hun ay pi tay tenu katni pay gi".

I think anything more than the same punishment Gilani got, would bring institutions to clash. Make him saza yafta and call it a day.

On duty PM ka arrest hua?

On duty PM ko 30 seconds ki saza kuch soch samaj ke hi di thi. Same thing can be done to Musharraf. You have to consider national security.

Indian newspapers are all over the place... :D

This would be a permanent NRO. Army general go scot-free thanks to their position others serve time. If PA as an institution indulges in such behavior it will be regrettable and will only result in offending a common Pakistani.

Gilani did anything different? He refused to prosecute the President and went to 30 seconds jail (within court) for it.

You have to accept certain things when you entrust people with national security.
