4 TTP members arrested in Karachi

Sohrab Goth police has arrested four alleged members of outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan during a raid conducted on a tip-off about presence of TTP men in Sohrab Goth’s Ganna Mandi area on Sunday.
The suspects were identified as Anar Khan, Ameer Khan, Sal Muhammad and Naimatullah.
SHO Naeem Khan said that one kettle contained 700 grammes of explosives material, two pistols and a repeater were also recovered, adding, that they were involved in number of cases of terrorism, extortion and crime.
He said that the apprehended accused Naimatullah’s brother, Nadir Azmat was a suicide bomber who blew himself up with the explosive material in Waziristan that claimed over 35 lives.
Further investigations was underway.

20 militants, 4 soldiers killed in Kurram
Security forces killed 20 terrorists who attacked them in Kurram Agency in which four security personnel were killed and 12 got injured. Terrorists attacked security forces with heavy weapons in the area of Bara Chamni and martyred 4 soldiers, besides injuring 12. The security forces retaliated and killed twenty terrorists, besides destroying four of their posts. The ISPR said only one constable got martyred and eight were injured in the incident.

Security forces in a successful operation have captured western heights of Maidan area of Khyber Agency.

Security forces launched an operation in Para Chamkani area of Kurram and Maidan in Khyber Agencies last night. After tough resistance from terrorists security forces have established foothold on Mohammadi Top in Kurram Agency while captured Haider Kandao which control move to Maidan area in Khyber Agency. All the dominating heights of the area have also been cleared / occupied by the forces. During exchange of fire 19 terrorists were killed while 12 got injured. 3 Soldiers including an officer also embraced shahdat and 3 were injured.

Locals of the area have extended all out support to the security forces and have also formed the Village Defence Committees to protect their villages against any counter attack by the terrorist.

There pictures aren't circulated as widely so it is hard to get their pictures, but they are also in our thoughts all the time.

We on this forum saluted the Shaheed Sepoy Asif on Kamra attack...so when some info comes out of a NCO/JCO who is Shaheed, we sure acknowledge there sacrifice.

I made that comment because most of the shaheed Pics i have seen was of officers thats why I dont hold a grudge against Officer as my Dad is a Retired MAJOR(medical problems). But I am Against this thing which my dad Does not Agree with me also Is that Officers of any Rank Gets Personal Buttman,to do their daily non military related work, which his argument is that its is because the Buttman is neccesary as they are not up to par with other Regular Soilders thats why,But iam against that and he is for that

PARACHINAR: Twenty-three militants and two security personnel were killed and five others were injured in a clash in northwest Pakistan’s Kurram tribal region on early Saturday.

According to security forces, following the clash in central Kurram, security forces bombed militant positions, killing 23 insurgents. A number of hideouts were also destroyed in the action.

A military operation has been ongoing in central Kurram for past three weeks.

Kurram, which is close to the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, is one of the seven regions in Pakistan’s Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata), governed by tribal laws. An extremist insurgency led by the Pakistani Taliban plagues the region while the area is known to be infested with militants, including those from Al Qaeda, Taliban and several other armed extremist organisations.

Also makes terrorist count to 42 ... now that most of the Heights have been captured , the causality rate will Drop on our side & will drastically increase on Terrorist side .

Due to the Height Advantage our Spotters are now in a better Vantage point , hence you are seeing more Air Strikes .

Sadly yes.

But as F.O.X pointed out, progress is being made and heights are close to being captured.
