Pakistani food served in the UK - comments?

There is not an iota of difference between Indian Food and Pakistani Food.

Better term it as Mughlai and Non- Mughalai Food.

Depends on what Indian food you are talking about..You dont find people having Mughlai food down south where they have Sambar ,asam nd idli and rice along with that..In Bengal and Orissa you find people are quite fond of riverine fish

Though a Brahmin, I am an hardcore non vegetarian and I consider Muslim Invasion on India as a boon for the gourmets like us. The other pros and cons are highly debateable but food..yeah..I love Mughalai.

I wish to visit Lahore some day and taste the varities offered in Gwala Mandi. I have heard its a heaven for food lovers.

Yeah it depends on specific regions where people live. A tamilian or a keralite like a bengali is more prone to have a bite of a fish then a punjabi who love his kukkad.

Being a north Indian, I can see the heavy Mughal Influence on the food and that's why I tend to differentiate them by terming Mughalai as non vegetaria and vegetarian as Hinduaani...

Indeed, variety is there. From the Masala Dosas of the South, to The famous Hyderabadi Biryani, Paaye, Nihaari, Rosogulla of orissa, Fish curry of Bengal, Litti Chokha from Bihar, Lucknow ki Chaat, Kakori Kebab, Moradabad ki daal, dilli ke chhole bhature, punjab ki daal makhani, rajsthan ka laal maans, Pyaaz ki kachori, gujarat ka dhokla, thepla, Maharashtra ka vada paav, haiyana ka saag, kashimir ka wazwaan,....

The list goes on and on and on...and I have started feeling hungry...
