Pakistan just needs to apologise for its behaviour in 1971 and then ties can be normalised.

Hasina is not asking for anything unreasonable.

Ideally, a truth commission should be established comprising upstanding members from Bangladesh, Pakistan, and other countries. If the commission finds that Pakistan was guilty of war crimes, Pakistan should apologise. Pakistan owes that much to Bangladesh and itself.

On behalf of all persons of conscience in Pakistan, I apologise for the crimes committed by the State of Pakistan against the Bangladeshi people and the people of erstwhile East Pakistan.

If my family was full of retards I would not bother trying to stay with them. They would only hinder and blind me to the true reality of the world. It is a recipe to lose forever while bonded by nonsensical notions of loyalty. True family would never treat you poorly or disrespect you by not listening to your needs.

Many years ago while growing up as a kid in a military FAMILY, I was brain-washed in believing that what happened in Bangladesh WAS ALL THE FAULT OF BANGALIS. But more recently, like 5-years, all my brain cells finally awoke after getting rid of the Army propaganda and showed me the true face of the REALITY.

I honestly believe that all Pakistani Generals and decision makers including politicians of of 1971 need to be prosecuted, held accountable and hanged via their balls if they are still alive. Pakistan and Bangladesh need to form a JOINT Commission where they need to form a consensus and identify people from both countries who were responsible for this blood bath, and bring them to task.

Transfer of power was their (establishment) F up, may be they had their reason (unreasonable demands from Bangalis). Bangalis were in majority and should have use political means to fight back, instead the resorting to target non-bangalis and govt building.
