It has been stated ample times that Pakistan's Fleet's main Objetive is a Coastal Security and Protection of near shore assets for Pakistan and it's economic Zone.

It is a interesting consideration how this fleet will emerge in upcoming years

The Deshshat (Some call it Azmat) Class , Ship is now locally manufactued
by Pakistani Engineer's own hands.

What are our other Alternatives for this class ships at present


FAC-55 , a similar ship to the Azmat offering frmo Turkey

MRTP-33 , A smaller ship best suited for commandos for fast operations

The modified Azmat

Various People have also liked the Houbie Class Fast attack Chinese Ship which is scheduled for delivery for exports to some countries

Obviously this baby the new talk of town in Pakistan

I'm a fan of the Houbei and of swarm tactics myself
but the Dehshat fits Pakistan's needs if they come
in the appropriate amount of hulls.

Yes but in an offensive and so very coordinated way.
I was thinking of a defensive position with the boats
deploying from say Sur to Lakhpat and with satcom
links for target designation from force multipliers.

With such a set-up, a couple Vidyut, frigates or Arnala
wouldn't make it back and overall not make it, period.

Ah! a thousand Houbei with some Atlantique 2s or
some P8 like yours driving them from above . . . and
Pakistani beachgoers can use the delta sands safely
to flip the bird towards the sun rising over India.​

For Dehshat Class , a minor adjustment could convert it to a small corvette which would suit our Navy well in term of arms and presence

Quite easy to see how just mere 30 meter increase can result in reasonable gains for the Dehshat platform
