Wow, I'm impressed by the sheer numbers who turned up to the event. There is literally no space for them to move around....It looks like the press outnumber them!

As for the event, burning a Pakistani flag (made in Pakistan), using petrol (imported from Pakistan) and the phones and accessories used to record the event (imported from Pakistan). The local shops in Peshawar must be laughing all the way to the bank.

But the moot question is, why are Pakistani flags being burnt in Afghanistan? It seems there's no love lost with the Pakistanis anymore! It's intriguing how and why this phenomenon has started happening all over Afghanistan! Is it because of Pakistan's Afghan policies? Like trying to make it a Pakistani Protectorate of sorts for the PA's grand design of achieving 'Strategic Depth' against India?

Pakistan has probably tied itself in knots here. This is what happens when Defense and Foreign Affairs are controlled by Army/ISI which is meant to defend the borders, not dabble in issues that should be the prerogative of a democratically elected civilian government.

Ungrateful Afghans whose millions of refugees still reside in Pakistan and are unwilling to go and yet they do such things in return of our transit facilities , those people whose animosity towards Pakistan is known since day one for some agreement signed by their late Amir and ratified with the British by the then Afghan Govt and yet they call it illegal ! You fail to realize that these protestors are those Afghans who hate Taliban and they see Taliban as agents of Pakistanis......you would see more flag burnings and attacks on pakistani embassies with rise in power of Afghan taliban.
If all afghans are to be disliked and needs to be expelled, then lets start with Afghan nationals like haqqani family and Quetta shura. Kick them out of Pakistan.
