Federal government is not splitting Karachi from Sindh.

They are either going to use Article 149 to one of the following:

• Force Sindh govt. to restore Karachi local govt. In this scenario, Karachi is still part of Sindh (More likely)
• Take over administrative control of Karachi. Even in this case, Karachi is still part of Sindh (Less likely)

No one should have a problem with Karachi's local govt. being empowered. Musharraf did this in his 10 years in power, no one in Sindh even made whimper.
Personally, I feel PTI should declare governor rule in Sindh - PPP has done the same in its past so it can't complain. Governor rule can be used to remove Wadera, Sardars, Jagirdars and liberate the Sindhi people. Solve water, food, health crisis of Sindh on an emergency basis with the help of the army. PPP doesn't have the competence to do so, nor do they even care enough to even consider.

No city is safe from missiles in that case. Few miles difference between ISB and Peshawar will not stop Brahmos.
