This is from The Nation.Maybe my English is not that much good to understand..... But anyway migration started after partition not at partition/at founding. If you want to use same yard stick than Muslim population of East Punjab is reduced from over 40% to almost 0%.
The Hindus constituted 22 per cent of the Pakistani population in 1951. Today, their share is down to less than 2 per cent with a majority of Hindu families living in the Sindh region.

And India's Muslim population grew over the years and not the otherwise.
