Defence and security products from Pakistan have been exhibited at the world’s largest defence exhibition Eurosatory being held in Paris from June 11-15.

Professional visitors and buyers from over sixty countries showed keen interest in the high-end defence and security products exhibited at the thematic and decorated Pakistan Pavilion.

Pakistan’s leading defence production outfits namely Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF), National Radio and Telecommunication (NRTC) and Global Industrial and Defence Solutions (GIDS) under the umbrella of Pakistan Defence Export Promotion Organisation (DEPO) exhibited a wide range of their products and services at the exhibition.

Pakistan’s ambassador to France Moin-ul-Haque visited the Pakistan Pavilion and met with the members of Pakistan delegation. He deeply appreciated the impressive layout of the pavilion and display of defence products for the international buyers.

He said that Pakistan’s participation in Eurosatory would provide an excellent opportunity to Pakistani defence-related organisations to network with world renowned players in the defence production sector, and would also help enhance exports of indigenous defence products.

Chairman POF Lt. Gen. Sadiq Ali, Chairman NDMA Lt. Gen. Omar Mahmood Hayat, Director General GIDS Maj. Gen. (retd) Tariq Jawaid, Director Coordination DEPO Brig. Waheed Mumtaz, and Brig. Tauqeer from NRTC are leading their delegations respectively.
