Pakistan will not accept India as UNSC permanent member: Nawaz

.
Openly yes but China will definitely veto a resolution calling for India to be part of UNSC. They would probably say they had to veto it as it hampers Pakistan's security.

The US and P5 openly supports the expansion of UNSC but oppose it discretely as it would decrease their veto power (2 vetos would be required to stop a UN resolution).

Also India's military and geo-political strength is nowhere near the top 3 (US, Russia and China).

When China got it, they were 3 times worse than us.

Forgetting that?

The current UNSC are WW2 winners and an expansion will include more than 1 country. Very few of world nations support the expansion by 1 state.

China got the seat as one of the 4 key allied powers in 1945, when most of the world were still European colonies, India wasn't even formed.

If you're referring to PRC succeeding ROC, PRC was already a full pledge thermo-nuclear power.

That is not the criteria. ROC wasn't a thermo-nuclear power.

And there was no single China until 1945 either.

It was simply a marriage of convenience for the Americans then to topple Taiwan and let in PRC.

The P5 doesn't want expansion and it will never want it.

Tell me, you are the boss with 2 other partners in your firm.

When everyone is nodding to you all the time, when business is smooth, will you call in another partner; a stranger?

No.

Same thing here on a much bigger level.

The expansion plans proposed are to include one nation from each continent apart from India which means Brazil and South Africa as well.

But P5 will never want that.

So it is simply impractical to expect them to accept this.

UK and USSR weren't nuclear power either when they joined UNSC.

There was only one single China, ROC. PRC took power only after WW2 ended. (US supported ROC)

I agree, no P5 member wants expansion despite all the diplomatic talks. It's no secret why UN reform was deadlocked for the last 20 years. In the game of politics, who in the right mind would want to dilute its own power.

Does that mean Pakistan will leave the UN if and when India becomes a permanent UNSC member ? :azn:

.
At the very best, this is a cheap nonsensical publicity stunt by this pathetic fart.

Pakistan doesn't have a say if the big powers would want to include India into UNSC, let alone do something about it.

It will not happen though for different reasons, the representation of organisations like EU for example or OIC, and then the individual countries like Germany, Japan and Brazil. By any criteria, these organisations and countries are far more eligible than India.

Nawaz Ji First You Should Gift Better Railways & Public Transportation to Your CountryMen Then should Demand for UN Permanent Seat

You on drugs or something ? What does our railways and transport have to do with India and geopolitics ? :o:

.
Then Japan wants, then Brazil wants, then Germany wants and then......Nothing will change.

. .
Alot. A nation without permanent power supply, rampant gas, fuel shortages is in no position to dictate world powers on India :D

How is transport issue, power and gas shortage relevant ? or lets put it this way, why should this effect relations with the world ? Its an internal economic issue, only people of Pakistan are suffering... Will government solve such issues by the end of their term is another internal debate, and a wait and see game.

No one is dictating India, U.S or anyone. Your brain is farting like a PTI troll. Nawaz is saying what every Pakistani wants to hear and there is no harm or violation in expressing that opinion. There is something called freedom of speech
