Pakistan warns India: don't make provocative remarks

Wrong. the present day bsf duties were carried out by cprf or crpf, I don't remember the words behind the abbreviation but there was definitely a police type force that worked on the borders. None the less, you failed to prove me wrong. shastri was convinced that india was loosing the war and so he went running to the un with a bleeding bunghole pleading for a ceasefire.
Yes Police forces were responsible for guarding border before BSF. Again no one went to UN for ceasefire. There is no historical evidence. Offer for ceasefire was made by Soviet Union and was first accepted by Pakistan and then by India.

This is more than fine for us.................... but as per your, whatever written in pakistani text book, those are correct and others are saying fake & lie.

At least three independent authors believed India had an upper hand in the war:

  • Retired American diplomat Dennis Kux: "Although both sides lost heavily in men and material, and neither gained a decisive military advantage, India had the better of the war. Delhi achieved its basic goal of thwarting Pakistan's attempt to seize Kashmir by force. Pakistan gained nothing from a conflict which it had instigated."
  • English historian John Keay: "The war lasted barely a month. Pakistan made gains in the Rajasthan desert but its main push against India's Jammu-Srinagar road link was repulsed and Indian tanks advanced to within a sight of Lahore. Both sides claimed victory but India had most to celebrate."
  • American author Stanley Wolpert: "The war ended in what appeared to be a draw when the embargo placed by Washington on US ammunition and replacements for both armies forced cessation of conflict before either side won a clear victory. India, however, was in a position to inflict grave damage to, if not capture, Pakistan's capital of the Punjab when the ceasefire was called, and controlled Kashmir's strategic Uri-Poonch bulge, much to [Pakistani president] Ayub's chagrin."

What nonsense. Pakistan army thwarted the Indian push towards Lahore at Sialkot when brave Pakistani soldiers martyred themselves and stopped the tank advance. One of my relatives was the first soldier to sacrifice himself when he held explosives and detonated them under the tank, may Allah reward him and all the other soldiers who sacrificed themselves for Pakistan. Indians were so taken aback they ran back from battle across the Indian border. The tea party in Lahore became the sh!t party in the Indian fields. Another list of cowardice shown by the Indians and added to the list of their historical runs. If cowardly running was an Olympic event the Indians would be Gold medalists for a thousand years.

Dear Sir.

There are quite a few members here, from Pakistan and elsewhere, for example the member from Pakistan, who I refused to engage, for the mere fact of him being a gentleman (and those who understand the context, will know what I refer to), who can tell me anything and I shall simply give a liner and move about my business. Or, if they are as chatty as I am, chat away with.

You, have all the privileges to check me. In fact, @Signalian did intervene in morning, alas the factor J of my brain picked on the hint later.
Well it went wayyyy over my head. I was just answering to you "Can i stop you from commenting" thing. Anyway :)

Oh that I know. Point was a slightly different one - that it is very easy to re-write history and discredit everything. Can someone post a counter on these photographs not being Pakistani attempts at Propaganda for self consumption? Would it not be a matter of moral courage, to post photographs which are actually correct when claiming something?

For example: Let me throw another non-sense out, the photograph of men lined up against the backdrop of the Centurion? All have dark shade of uniform and last I remember that PA uses khakhi ;) But then, I also know, that the instances of capture of equipment did take place. Why do you think I tagged number 4 photograph of the SPG? :D And name the unit you raised?
Good that you are aware of equipment being captured. As for uniform, our tank crew wear black.

What happened, you can ask @The Eagle ... or check in backend for the records. I do not have access to what precisely happened. But I stayed banned for a month, because of the reason mentioned.

Anyways, I think these will be my last words on this.
Well i doubt that "last words" part but,, as i told you, i was not a MOD at that time so cannot say what happened or reasons behind that. However to give you a proof that moderation at that time and today is way better than anywhere else, you are back!! :D

Dreams has no limits..... Even Pakistan can will against Universe army and the world if they fight.

But History says something from 1947.............. I wish Pakistan always win the WAR against India in that way... We are happy to loose the way history is written and nobody can changed the history and great performance.

Notice the use of my word 'non-sense'? ;)

Of course they wear black. Hence the Picture at Serial No 1 was tagged and is a laugh - no weapons in war time and soldiers standing on top of 'captured' tanks. Then you do not know what a soldier feels when captures something ;)

The photograph of Centurion? Did occur, possible of being true (I find the angle of tank to accept it), hence not even bothered about.

Serial No 4? The Sexton? I am sure you have seen the discussion on their being in Pakistan Army so far. I do, of course, challenge anyone to post an evidence that they are actually captured weapons and not merely stock taking of the 25 Pounders (See the man with a sheaf of papers? Maybe checking inventory?)

This forum has enough of photoshops going around .... :)

Look at the lovely photograph of a book with photographs superimposed and 'stuck'. Claiming a photo of a film by India ;) Really? And that is the evidence? :D

With the language and trolls being encouraged here by title holders? I do not think will be around for long. Toxicity is more rampant.
Anyways, will keep tagging and reporting.
Cheers.

So someone claims that the PA didn't capture a regiment worth of 25 pdrs in Op Grand Slam, cool.

Should be worth reminding this regiment abandoned their guns and could not retrieve them despite all efforts. Challenging what happened is useless. Ends up in undignified exchanges of words and bad taste.

Well, again, its all just dragging the debate for no reasons at all!! There is no reason to state or believe that these are fakes. We know the Indian tanks were captured and the picture is claimed to be from that time. I don't think someone would go out and fake those!! Still, not really important to me so wont waste more time on it.

In January, once am free with my due diligence, and have free time, will come back to this point. Sexton was just an example. How falsification is now being mainstreamed. We have that issue in India, but yours started back in late 70s, with Zia's education reformation :)

Sorry, but I disagree.

I haunt a place where am able to control just this type of behavior. Was offline for a year, things have gone awry, but I still do not hesitate to take fanboys and flamers to task. Here? It is promoted and defended.

Selective responses. Otherwise, vacation time :)

Two wrongs wont make one right, all i am saying. Will wait for January! (Though i will be traveling abroad in Jan)

Hey, that makes the two of us, i disagree to :)
Here, i find it way way better!! You can compare the number "protected trolls" here with at other places, you will see day light between them. Have to be a bit realistic and unbiased to analyze this sir. Honestly, in my three our four visits there i have seen more anti-Pakistan and anti-Islam hatred over there than the anti-India hatred i have seen here in 11 odd years on defence.pk
