Pakistan War on Terror 2.0: Solutions?

Lets put aside all the hyper playground slogans of "break the back", "snatch the eyes out", "shower them in their own blood" and discuss cold heart solutions to Pakistan's War on Terror 2.0. Here are cold facts:

1. Pakistan is close to default
2. Taliban will remain on our Western Borders
3. India will remain on our Eastern Borders and will continue to fund anybody and everybody against us
4. People of Baluchistan feel disenfranchised and feel that their riches are being exploited (East Pakistan 2.0)
5. There are religious elements who are open to indoctrination and brainwashing

Feel free to add more issue and lets discuss solutions

Replace this guy asap. His focus is on political party which he proved himself by doing a presser against it.

IMO, best way is to go after TTP leadership. There will unlimited / endless supply of mercernaries. You will never defeat TTP even if you kill dozens daily. You have to target the leadership. That can be done if we make proper use of our intelligence agencies. Human intelligence on the ground is the best option to locate the nest of terror groups. UCAVs only come when you already have identified the target.

After so much rise of terrorism, I am hoping ISI would be done making audios / recording personal videos and making treason cases against citizens of Pak and they will fully commit themselves against the terrorism.

True, but drones / UCAVs comes only when you have located the terror group positions / hideouts. Locating is the most challenging task. Eliminating is not the problem. To locate, we need human assets at ground. The proper intelligence agency stuff.

Not saying this. The policies are ofcourse driven by collective establishment.

But as ISI head, the failure to foil terror attacks are his responsibility.

But yeah, your question is valid. The entire approach / policy needs to change. Not just the ISI head.

Shut down the border first, than deport the Afghans asap than isolate the entire KPK region using massive ground forces, than use brute force against the TTP, those who are already in Afghanistan use drones against the hideouts, those who are in Pakistan root them out and their supporters and just start hanging them quickly or kill them after extracting information. But without sealing the Afghan border or deporting Afghans it will be a temporary solution.

1. A hard border wall where possible to reduce the manpower needed to fend it. A hard wall cant be torn down as easy. The fence is a short term solution.
2. Get more KP and Balochistan Locals involved in security. Expand FC numbers. More people patrolling the countryside because that's what they depend on to hide.
3. There is still a very very very slouch approach to providing bulletproof vehicles. so many troops die because they had 0 armoured vehicles. This is beyond a joke. How many lives could have been saved because there is always money for chori and daka but never for MRAP/APC
4. Engage the gormint in afghani and keep the pressure on them to stop this. Because the gormint in Pakistan is a joke. an amrikan stooge they are not bound to listen. Need a strong gov in Pakistan.
5. use afghans that are in Pakistan. use them to fight in afghanistan on Pakistan behalf. These militia can make sure any troubled border area is kept clear.
6. kit needs to be provided. If troops don't have NVD/Thermal Imaging. Its a joke. Got gernails becoming billionaires like bajwa but short of funds for basic kit.
7. Turkey faces a very similar situation to Pakistan!! Just look how they deal with it and look at the attitude in Pakistan!! It CAN BE DONE BUT NO ONE WANTS IT DONE.

Turkey is Turkey. Pakistan is Pakistan. That is the main difference. Does the Turkish army conspire with papa America to overthrow it's government?

It's not hard to predict where Pakistan is going currently. There is already anti-Pakistan sentiment in Balochistan and other provinces. Anti-state groups are attacking with impunity.

Another thing, last war on terror was understandable. This war will NOT be welcomed by the public in Pakistan. How the F did these scrounge pop up like garden weed and have access to afghani land like holes in swiss cheese.

What a farce. the military estab-lash-mant is NOT going to have the blessings of the nation. They fkd the country up and no more unconditional love this time.

Turkey is Turkey. Pakistan is Pakistan. That is the main difference. Does the Turkish army conspire with papa America to overthrow it's government?

they have in the past, BUT their resolution to dealing with scrounge has always been SOLID. They are in NATO, BUT they draw the line when it comes to national security.

They fixed their country and made it liveable. Pakistan has been reduced to dump on purpose. so the elite can live in europe or amrika.
