when they were batting seems like they are not playing looks like they themselevs wantes too loose umer akmal got run out he had lot of time to go back but he turned back slowly and got himself out similarly goes with afridi he should have stayed there but as i say they were playing to loose the match if they can't win T 20 i think we get clean sweep as we got in ausralia we deserve with this we dont blame loosing or winiing the match but what we want to see our team fights in the ground in batting bowling and fielding and after that they loose we accept that loose but we want to see courage on them for pakistan and doing welll which i did not see in these matches they were dying to go back in stands
SF the problem is not that our team dont want to win. The problem lies in the selection process, our top three along with the captain himself are walking wickets. Lets look at them from the top;
Imran Farhat; The least said about this guy the better the only reason he is there at the first place is that he is the son in law of one of the selectors.
Mahamad Hafeez: The guy has potential but not for playing a T20, he is ok for one days, and should be groomed and given confidence to play a test if you want to persist with him in any format. But T20 is not there at all.
Shahzaib Hassan; he was the 3rd or 4th highest scorer in the domestic T20 tournament. One of the guys above him was Abdul Razaq, so basically he is there ahead of 2 deserving players, and the only reason I see him there is that he plays under Afridi. He has no confidence, he miss times almost 90% of his shots. And has no idea about playing cricket, for him any thing and every thing should be hit out of the park. Seriously he should be playing baseball and not Cricket.
Zulqarnain Haider; The Kid is new and his game suits test cricket and at best you can use him in the middle order for one day cricket. But for a T20 a big no. The better thing should have been that he should have been replaced with Assad Shafiq as he can keep and is a better striket of the ball.
Afridi: after playing almost 300 matches if one cant tell the difference between his @$$ and brain then he should not be in the team at all. How many world class hitters have we seen and the difference between them and afridi is that they knew that when to hit and when not to. And just like Shahzaib hassn Afridi dont know when to not hit the ball trying to clear the ground. And rotating the strike is some thing that our team is completely unaware of.
