60-year-old citizen martyred in Indian ceasefire firing violation along LOC: ISPR

Indian Army in an unprovoked firing in Nikyal sector targeted an innocent civilian along the Line of Control (LOC) and martyred a sixty-year-old man named Ghiyas—a resident of village Oli of district Kotli in Azad Jammu Kashmir.

Three women were also injured while cutting grass in the fields along the LOC in the wake of firing incident.

The ISPR in a statement said that blatant Indian aggression is a clear violation of the existing ceasefire agreement.

Pakistan Armed Forces spokesperson said that Pakistan wants peace and tranquility on its borders, but all necessary measures will be taken to protect the lives and property of its citizens.

“Any adventure against the people of Pakistan will be given a befitting response at the time and place of our choice,” the ISPR DG said in a statement issued on Monday.

Chief of Army Staff Gen Asim Munir addressing an Azadi Parade on August 14 expressed full support for the Kashmiri brethren of the occupied territory, and said that Pakistan supported the indigenous freedom struggle of the people of Kashmir, who were facing the atrocities of the Indian Army.

He said that Pakistan would continue to provide moral, political, and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people in their just struggle for self-determination.

I always used to think that our Generals have low IQ and high ego. But the way current COAS is making decisions, he seems 100% to be a psychopath. Using force on citizens, murdering & torturing people, abducting women, torturing children, Practically implementing de-facto marshal law. Completely suspending constitution, murdered 25 unarmed Pakistanis on 9th May, valuing walls and statues more than lives of Pakistanis, total sensor ship, controlling and occupying everything including president house, making lives of people as hell, demoralizing entire nation, whole economy, nothing can work in such draconian system.

People need to stop hoping that they will change themselves. NEVER! They are gone so down in their sins that they have crossed the point of no return. A massive struggle is required by the nation to get rid of such monsters.

India should increase the security on the border. Looking at the current anti army sentiments in Pakistan, I won’t be surprised if the crackdown by the army (like Operation Searchlight) takes place and millions of refugees flock to India for safety; like it happened in 1971. We can’t save the Pakistanis from Pak Army all the time.
