Jana, Yes! The Pakistanis are the most romantic people but I thought, please correct me if I am wrong, nowadays their romance never stops and is independent of light and stays in action all the time whether there is light or no.

Correct me if im wrong but if you add up the total amount of 'earth hours' pakistan observes each day then im pretty sure we can be excused for taking part in the next coming years as we have probably already covered it off for the next few coming milleniums!! LOL That is certainly a commitment no one else will be able to even remotely come close to! lol

Here in ahmedabad,gujarat i dont remember the last time when power was off. We get 365 days*24 hour power in almost all gujarat including villages.but yaa, load shading present in daily bases in many of indian cities like mumbai and delhi..
Looking at populatn it seems to be a major problem in future.

Australian idea of earth hour of switching your lights off for one hour goes global and over 120+ countries are participating this year.

But Pakistan has taken the pledge to set an Earth hour world Record by Switiching "Everything" off for 23 hours in whole country

By having done that Pakistan will Become "World's most environment Friendly Country "

yes in india (except for few states such as U.P. Bihar, Delhi, Orrisa Jharkhand, Northern states) there is no problem of power cut...
