your ability to export any product is to convince a buyer that you canm look after them from sign of the contract to delivery to aftersales without issues.

PAK has no control over engines weapons radars and any 3rd party will thinking we have to deal with both russia & china as well.

that alone is off putting

.
So the other guy will spend all the money manufacturing the fighter, while PAF will sit on its *** and gets 50 percent of the profits? The world over IPR owners get only royalty(a tiny percentage of the cost of the aircraft), while PAF due to a unique fanboy-economic-model gets the profits while the other guy slaves his *** off making the fighter.

I hope your pilots are as intelligent as you people are, flying your planes.

Once again making fool out of yourself. Have read the agreement signed b/w CAC and PAF at the start of JF-17 program or have you heard from hourse mouth (CAC delegation giving presentation on JF-17 at dubai airshow 2011) that profit would be 50-50?

Obviously no,,, do us a favour,, and making next post basing on useless smileys and derogatory references, go through JF-17 info pool thread to see how, why and what of such things.

.
I am sure if the cost of each Block-II JF-17s would be $23 Million per piece then for 100 JF-17s for PAF it will cost $2.3 Billions in 5 years time. Also if PAC would have gain more orders like from Yemen, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and other countries then it can easily produce about 50-55 JF-17s each year....

Tell me about the dual seat version of this aircraft???? Is it ready to be produced???

Have anyone asked you to do your useless maths?

Despite You visiting PDF everday, it is being told repeatedly from last year, JF-17 project director has stated in clear terms dual seat JF-17 is not a current priority for PAF meaning in simple english that they don't want dual seat and it would not be produced in near future

And we also know and being told from last year PAC can not and will not produce 50-55 JF-17's per year

And last but not the least. Do us favour, if you can not add something substantial it is better to remain shut up

By this logice, PAF should never have gone for JF-17. But they did. That should be enough to put your logic in its place.

ummm nah...Pak byuing JF17 is a contract between China and Pakistan...so Pakistan was banking on all weather friend China to sort out any issues...However contract b/w Pakistan and whatever country she will sell it to would mean third party will have to bank on pakistan to sort out any issues...Now obviously clout of Pakistan cannot be compared with that of China viz-a-viz Russia, no??

Anyhow i hope you get good buyers..so all the best!!
Stupid its a JV.

Pakistan Has Export Plans for Jet Fighter Produced With China
By GERRY DOYLE
The market for the JF-17 fighter appears to be expanding in unexpected ways. At the Dubai Airshow, which opened on Sunday, the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex had a freshly minted example on display, complete with an array of Chinese-made missiles and bombs.

The Pakistani company jointly produces the plane with China’s Chengdu Aircraft Industry Corporation; the fighter is seen as one of China’s efforts tomove up the value chain in arms exports. But according to recent news reports, Pakistan has plans to export the aircraft itself.

Who would buy a plane like this — equivalent to a “fourth-generation” fighterlike those produced in the United States and the former Soviet Union 30 years ago — from Pakistan? The Diplomat cites Sri Lanka, Kuwait and Qatar as among the countries making inquiries. The last two countries are a surprise, considering they buy much of their hardware from the United States now.

But regardless of who is buying, the display in Dubai, which in 2011 saw more than $63 billion worth of deals closed, shows that Pakistan is serious about selling.

will be glad if this news is true and we get some export orders from foreign countries :)
but i don't think we will be selling this aircraft on our own. bcoz a lot of things JF17 uses are chinese. and engine is also an issue.

.
If China and Russia agree then they can sell the plane. PAFs role is mainly to do the PR for these countries in the air shows. Win-win situation for all.
