Pakistan to reopen closed Hindu temples

If true it is an good gesture considering that sanghis in India, who are currently in power, are slowly but surely trying to wipe out muslims traditions in india.
Other minorities including linguistic ones will not be spared.
Right now they are concentrating around the cowbelt region and north india; next they will come for the south (language, xtians, muslims) and finally northeast (xtians)

The largest hindu statue (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garuda_Wisnu_Kencana_statue) in the world is in indonesia, which is the largest muslim nation; this statue was built just a few years back.
Meanwhile in the largest hindu nation, india; mosques and churches are vandalised and destroyed and the courts give the mosque land to the destroyer. Justice, hindutva style.

Pakistan is fast becoming what it was meant to be. What it's founding father Muhammad Ali Jinnah wanted it to be. What our forefathers dreamt it to be. And what a state based on Islam and for Muslims is supposed to be. A state where every one is free to practice their beliefs and feels as secure and able as a Muslim.

Let's not bring our neighbors anymore to this, because there is really no comparison any more and we need to stop lowering our own standards by comparing ourselves with them.
Let them slowly go down the drain as they were always due to the dysfunctional societies and delusional mindsets they had been nurturing.

P.S: I will personally report and get any attempts at trolling and spreading negativity blocked here.
Pakistan is becoming heaven for enemies of Pakistani's and hell for average Pakistani and Kashmiri. Maybe PM should've ran for prime minister of India and rest of the world instead of Pakistan. Our boys being putting their lives on line and every other day they become victim of IED or some other attack and no one and I mean no one cares for them in current administration civil or military. Keep giving Jhapphi's and ignore your own country men. When are they going to grow some pairs and tell both of THEIR(Afghanistan and India)friend countries to please stop attacking our boys. Every country is becoming nationalists every day and like always we are out of touch and lighting up Aman ki asha buti and shoving it deep you know where. I have reservations on kartarpoor corridor what's the guarantee that it wont turn into Sikhs insurgency 10 years from now who to blame then. Let's do fact check Sikhs identify themselves as Indian will continue to do so. How about caring for those first who call themselves Pakistani in Pakistan in Kashmir .

@Brass Knuckles we didn't do kartarpur for tourism. We did that for people. Secondly, Ahmadis are also our people. You know, Ahmadis pray after ever meal that the day when Pakistan will be no more there, we will pull out all our dead bodies and will rebury them in Qadian. I mean no harm to Ahmadis, but I think opening a corridor to Qadian and a right to Bury their dead in Qadian will lessen their feelings about rejoining India.
About dollars, don't worry much. We have other means to earn. These things are small things, but these things matter on some other fronts.
@Ghessan @Vapnope

There is nothing for Pakistani people in Pakistan.government failed on diplomatic front.more poverty, more unemployment.pakistan is becoming a heaven for people who aren't pakistani.entire Arabs have madrassas and jihadi mindset,Shia have Irani influence, now indian Sikhs have place to worship in Lahore and very soon Hindu temple will open.there is no Islamic law in Pakistan that can be implemented on rich.elite is enjoying life in Pakistan and very sad to see pakistan heading towards disaster.a country which already have different types of Muslims are now opening gates for hindus.this is not the objective behind the creation of pakistan.islamic law was the reason.imran Khan talks about Madina ki riyasat.he has failed.we sell Kashmir and now opening temples for unbelievers.pathetic situation.you can say that pakistan is on self destruction path.

Great news. Marvelous gesture of peace. Divinely inspired. Words cannot explain the greatness of this act.

Hindus should be happy as both Modi Regime and Khan Regime goes against the odds to make their temples great again.

Considering the long-standing demand of Pakistan's Hindu community, the Imran Khan government has decided to reopen closed Hindu temples and also renovate them.

According to a report in 'Radio Pakistan', the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf's spokesperson Ahmad Jawad gave this information while releasing the details of 10 achievements of the government.

There has been a long-standing demand from the Hindu community in the country to reopen these temples. Agreeing with the demand, the government has decided to open these temples, Jawad said in a statement.

The 10 achievements mentioned by Jawad in the statement include a decline in the deficit of Pakistan International Airlines and 11 new electricity production projects.

The statement also claimed that textile exports in the country witnessed an increase of 20 per cent. Construction of a modern hospital has been started in Gwadar with the help of China and a scheme was also initiated to provide employment to the youth.

The current GoP is quite progressive and kudos to PMIK for this gesture. This is indeed a step in the right direction.

I must protest the comparison though, by mentioning it, you inadvertently caused the very thing you wanted otherwise.

To my understanding, the OP started this thread to highlight the positive steps taken by GoP and they must be commended.

Arguing or comparing who's better is an exercise in futility.

I think next in line will be Christians and jews.i mean they also deserve temples.i think Pakistan becomes a common place for worship for different religions.obviously Kashmir is lost.no worries.difference between other countries and pakistan is simple.other countries care about their own people.pakistan cares about Hindus,Sikhs,Americans, afghans, saudia, iran.i mean we have persons from different nationalities running full campaign in Pakistan and they are free to do anything but miserable pakistanis are poor and with no jobs.pakistan cares about international community too much.bigger heart pakistan is ready to give away anything.look at india.no mosque, only temple and here more temples wow.

Hopefully Bamiyan Corridor will also be initiated along with the another corridor for Hindus closer to their base hub in Chahbahar. They have old hindu temples there as well.

Tolerance and selfless acts of kindness will not only transform Pakistan, it will transform Islam.

Islam does not need any transformation. What it really needs is reopening 'Ijtihad'.

Ijtihad is the means /tool permitted in Islam to enable Muslims to cope with the changing social conditions and technological innovations by re-interpretation of the ‘Fiqah/Islamic Jurisprudence’ by the Muslim Jurists.

However, the doors of Ijtihad have closed since the end of the Abbasid Caliphate in the 13th century. In my humble opinion, this started the decline of Muslim supremacy in science and technology.

Absolutely, into a softer more tolerant version. Pakistan will lead the way and the rest of the Muslim world will follow.

Sure Akbar. Bring your Deen i Ilahi around again. Its been a while since it was sent packing to the depths of ignorance it sprung from

So in your opinion Islam needs transformation?

He is PTI fan btw

Muslim supremacy? What does belief in God have to do with supremacy? How does the focus on the immaterial with a supremicist attitude towards the material make any sense? It is a contradiction.

They were wrong then and going back to old ways is banging your head against the wall for the same outcome.

Spirituality and worldly gain simply do not mix. You can blame the people who introduced the sharia for this 2 centuries later after Quran.

The world is changing, try and keep up.
