Yeah, radar to detect movements. PA just want to install radars without guns. Nothing else.

At the very least we need to give the infantry units deployed in these areas Anza-II ( at the moment only Air Defence units have these ) , in close quarter engagements with low flying helis Anza is needed.
Anza is field proven , it has brought down indian Mig-21 , Mig-27 and Mi-8

Radars are responsibility of PAF not army. Army plays with Battery Radars and Counter Battery radars. Thats it. Primary monitoring is done by PAF, and as they bought the APS 77 radars and places them all on the eastern side, they probably don't have any systems to cover the hilly terrain of the western border. Maybe they can get mobile units like the MPDRs by Siemens, from China??? Or appoint Crotale systems there?

Pakistan does need the most advanced Air Defense System but more than that Pakistan needs to develop a SPINE.

Pakistan must learn that once you surrender your sovereignty, there is nothing left to protect. Once you yield your Sovereignty, you might as well leave your borders and come back home. What is the point of sitting out there at the borders and getting slaughtered.

I sincerely hope, we can install more heavy security and others armed missiles than radars detection. As Pakistanisage explained, we can't accept being slaughtered and sitting at the posts with radars no guns availables.

Aging Crotale systems was retired by PA, it is not longer needed. If I am Army Chief, I would choose this effective hot pursuit missile.

1)Man-portable air-defence system ANZA III to hit low altitude [10m] and low range [0.5 KM to 5KM]

Its impossible, that PA would be using any Western Air Defence System.
