Pakistan really needs to focus on long range missiles especially inter continental ballistic missiles. Aq khan had said that he couldve developed one for pakistan but he was stopped. An inter continental missiles would greatly enhance pakistan's global military position. I hope it would be done in the future

@XiNiX. No. What I am saying is that it lowers the threshold of use of nukes. Once a tactical is used the strategic ones are bound to be used. Hence, the thought of limited incursion should now be looked at from MAD perspective, hence, making such plans infeasible.

There was a growing thought in some Indian circles that limited incursions can be made without crossing the red line which would invoke a nuclear response from Pakistan. The purpose of Nasr is to discourage such plans/thought processes.

- Conventional Subs with SLBMs ( Like Israel )
- Purchase AWACS

Well, Honestly I would Strongly Contradict.
Bilal, The Very Existance of TNWs is Offensive ( Due to Paks FIRST USE Policy ) to which ( in Indo-Pak Context ) There is ONLY one Answer - India Going for the TOTAL KILL.

India WILL NEVER STOP its Huge Army facing a Huge Border, for the fear of TNWs. Why Should They ?
They Know, Pakistan WILL NOT USE NASR ! NEVER .

You know, Once a Soviet Missile Regiment Major was Fired ( When he Chose NOT TO RETALIATE ) .. Though he CORRECTLY INTEPRETED a False Alarm from a Satellite....that ONE MISSILE ws coming towards USSR. He Said, he was Told in Training, If USA would Attack it will be Hundreds of Missiles.. So, Either NAsr CANNOT be used, or If you Want to Use.. Use Shaheeen/Gauri.

@XiNiX. As I said it's purpose is to deter. If God forbid it fails to deter and the time of usage comes it won't be one Nasr firing. It would be pretty much our whole arsenal. And hence, it's supposed to make the decision of making an incursion harder to take because now the nuclear threshold is much lower.
